If you need a laptop for general use with a higher-resolution touchscreen, better portability, and prefer a slightly better battery life, the Lenovo IdeaPad Slim 7i Pro is suitable for you, although it tends to be more expensive. However, if you are seeking a larger screen size for productivity and can forgo a touchscreen, the Lenovo IdeaPad Slim 5i, which is usually less expensive, might be a more cost-effective choice. Both laptops offer similar performance for general use, but keep in mind that neither is ideal for intensive gaming. Give Feedback

How the Lenovo IdeaPad Slim 5i and the Lenovo IdeaPad Slim 7i Pro compare to other laptops
"The device is made for average work loads and if your work has a lot to do with online browsing, using apps that are not power-hungry and streaming videos. The looks are really good and the device in itself is not a heavy one. And with Intel 11th-gen Core processor, you might sail through most of your work without complaints."
"The main selling point of the IdeaPad Slim 7i Pro versus a regular IdeaPad Slim 7 is its faster Core H-series CPU. In reality, the Core i7-11370H is only marginally faster than the U-series Core i7-1165G7 to the point where most users are not likely to notice the benefits. The slight performance uptick comes at the cost of slightly higher power consumption as well meaning owners will have to deal with potentially warmer temperatures or louder fans to compensate. Unless if you happen to be a power user, then the regular non-Pro model will be more than enough. Once you go 90 Hz, you can't go back."
