To decide between the Lenovo IdeaPad Slim 3 and the MSI Bravo 15, consider your primary use. The Slim 3 is suitable for general use thanks to its lighter weight and longer battery life, making it ideal for carrying around and everyday tasks. On the other hand, the MSI Bravo 15 is designed for gaming and more intensive tasks with better performance, but this also means it is heavier and may have a shorter battery life. If gaming, 3D work, or machine learning is your focus, and you don't mind the extra weight and frequent charging, go for the Bravo 15. If you prioritize portability and battery life for regular activities, the IdeaPad Slim 3 is the better choice. Give Feedback

The Lenovo IdeaPad Slim 3 has a better screen than the MSI Bravo 15 for software development, while the MSI Bravo 15 has a better screen for general use, gaming and AI, and engineering and design.
The Lenovo IdeaPad Slim 3's screen might not have the high resolution or brightness that would make it ideal for general consumption of media, but its adequate for everyday tasks like browsing and document editing. For engineering and design, both the IdeaPad Slim 3 and MSI Bravo 15 screens lack the wider color gamuts needed for accurate color work, although their resolution is sufficient for detailed designs. When it comes to 3D and gaming, the lower refresh rates of both screens mean less fluid motion and potential screen tearing, a downside for dynamic visual content where smoothness is key.

How the Lenovo IdeaPad Slim 3 and the MSI Bravo 15 compare to other laptops
Olivier Martin, Ryan Lim, and John Peroramas | May 2023
"The Lenovo IdeaPad 3i is decent for use as a workstation. Its Intel CPU and integrated graphics can only handle light productivity tasks, not demanding workloads like video editing or 3D graphics. You also can't do any color-critical work because the available displays have a narrow color gamut. It has a good port selection, but its USB-C lacks Thunderbolt 4 support. On the upside, it has a comfortable keyboard and doesn't get hot or loud under load."
"Overall, the MSI Bravo 15 C7U is a great gaming device for the masses that isn’t too pricey. The capable hardware (for the price range), the 144Hz display, and the comfortable keyboard are one of the things that should attract buyers who don’t want to spend a fortune on a new gaming laptop."
