If you prioritize a more portable and premium laptop with a higher quality screen, the Lenovo ThinkPad X1 Titanium Yoga is the better option, albeit at a higher cost. It's lighter, with a better display resolution and touchscreen functionality, ideal for business and general use. On the other hand, the Lenovo IdeaPad Slim 3 is more budget-friendly, offers a larger screen, and is sufficient for everyday tasks. Both laptops have similar storage and battery life, but the IdeaPad Slim 3 might not be as well-suited for intensive tasks given its lower overall performance compared to the ThinkPad X1 Titanium Yoga, which offers better engineering and 3D machine learning capabilities due to higher RAM and a better processor. How the Lenovo IdeaPad Slim 3 and the Lenovo ThinkPad X1 Titanium Yoga compare to other laptops
Olivier Martin, Ryan Lim, and John Peroramas | May 2023
"The Lenovo IdeaPad 3i is decent for use as a workstation. Its Intel CPU and integrated graphics can only handle light productivity tasks, not demanding workloads like video editing or 3D graphics. You also can't do any color-critical work because the available displays have a narrow color gamut. It has a good port selection, but its USB-C lacks Thunderbolt 4 support. On the upside, it has a comfortable keyboard and doesn't get hot or loud under load."
"The ThinkPad X1 Titanium is a showcase of what Lenovo thinks business computing will look like in the near future. People want thinner, lighter laptops with high-quality screens and enough computing power to get their work done. The X1 Titanium achieves these goals with some controversial but innovative design choices, including a redesigned keyboard and a pared-down port selection."
