The Lenovo IdeaPad Pro 5i offers a higher performance with its i7 processor and RTX graphics, suitable for intensive tasks like gaming, 3D modeling, or engineering work. However, it's heavier and thicker, affecting portability. The Microsoft Surface Laptop 5 13" has a sleeker, lighter design, making it easier to carry around, and its screen has a higher pixel density. Although less powerful without dedicated graphics, it's adequate for general use and some light creative work. It also has a unique 3:2 screen ratio, which is favorable for productivity tasks. Ultimately, choosing the Lenovo leans towards performance, while the Surface favors portability and design. Give Feedback

How the Lenovo IdeaPad Pro 5i and the Microsoft Surface Laptop 5 13" compare to other laptops
"Lenovo’s IdeaPad Pro 5i represents an impressive opening salvo for Meteor Lake in the ultraportable space against familiar foes from AMD and Apple. Not only does the Core Ultra 5 125H processor provide good performance across the board, but battery life remains a strong point against the Acer Swift Edge 16 with its AMD Ryzen 7 7840U processor. It can’t quite match the endurance of the 15-inch MacBook Pro, but the gap is shrinking."
"The Surface Laptop 5 remains afloat as a solid machine. It's just not one that stands out in any particular way. Just like the last one. The biggest upgrade were some new components, but they perform in the same range as other laptops with them, and frequently at the bottom of that range. I suspect Microsoft's settings are very conservative to help keep cooling and battery life within reason in the older chassis design."
