The Lenovo IdeaPad 5 15" is more budget-friendly and offers decent general use performance with good battery life, making it suitable for everyday tasks and some light gaming. It's also fairly lightweight and more portable, which is convenient if you travel frequently. On the other hand, the Razer Blade 18 is pricier, but it delivers significantly higher performance for demanding 3D tasks, engineering software, and intensive gaming thanks to its powerful processor and high-end graphics card. Its larger, higher-resolution screen and more robust build are ideal for professionals and gamers who need top-notch visuals and performance, though it's less portable and has a shorter battery life. Choose the Lenovo for casual use and portability at a lower cost, or the Razer if top performance and premium features are your priority, and you're less concerned about cost and portability. NotebookCheck

Marcus Schwarten | August 2021
"The Lenovo IdeaPad 5 is convincing due to its long battery life. The device scores points especially with its large battery and long battery runtimes combined with its low consumption. The CPU and GPU perform in the test as one would expect, and in line with what was familiar from the somewhat smaller 14-inch sister model, the Lenovo IdeaPad 5 14."

PCMag

Matthew Buzzi | March 2023
"Razer made a powerful laptop in the Blade 18, showing off a beautiful and fast display and the same high-quality build we’ve come to expect from this product line. It’s also quite expensive, which is hardly a surprise, but bears repeating even in this price range. It’s pricier than the Scar 18 despite an inferior GPU and half the storage, so you really have to want the Blade 18’s design to justify the cost."
