The Lenovo IdeaPad 3 17" generally costs less and offers a larger screen, making it suitable for tasks where having a spacious display is beneficial. It includes a numeric keypad which may be useful for data entry, and its battery life is commendable. However, its larger size and weight affect portability. On the other hand, the Samsung Galaxy Book2 360, while more expensive, boasts a higher-quality OLED touchscreen, better portability due to its smaller size and lighter weight, and superior performance for tasks that may benefit from a more powerful processor and double the memory. The decision should hinge on whether portability, screen quality, and performance or price and screen size are prioritized for your intended use. Give Feedback

The Samsung Galaxy Book2 360 is good for engineering and design, while the Lenovo IdeaPad 3 17" is only fair.
The Samsung Galaxy Book2 360 is better suited for engineering and design use due to its higher RAM, more sophisticated Intel processor with Iris Xe graphics, and higher-quality OLED touchscreen display, offering deeper colors and contrast. In contrast, the Lenovo IdeaPad 3 17" has a fair display and adequate processing power but is held back by lower RAM and a less powerful AMD processor and graphics, which may affect performance in demanding applications.

The Samsung Galaxy Book2 360 has a better screen than the Lenovo IdeaPad 3 17" for general use, gaming and AI, engineering and design, content creation, and software development.
When considering a laptop for general use, the Samsung Galaxy Book2 360 outshines the Lenovo IdeaPad 3 as it likely offers a higher resolution and brighter display with a superior panel type, which enhances the overall viewing experience. For engineering and design tasks, the Samsung also takes the edge, probably due to a wider color gamut coverage that ensures more accurate color reproduction essential for detailed design work. However, for gaming and 3D applications where a high refresh rate is crucial to avoid motion blur and provide smoother visuals, both laptops fall short as they are likely equipped with standard refresh rate displays which don't cater well to these fast-paced activities.

How the Lenovo IdeaPad 3 17" and the Samsung Galaxy Book2 360 compare to other laptops
"The Lenovo IdeaPad 3 17" defies expectations. Indeed, it is just a minor upgrade over last year. However, this doesn’t make the laptop any less terrific. It’s got a great performance, courtesy of the Ryzen 5x25U processors. In addition, you get a pretty good battery life. Perhaps, the 2-hour decrease in video playback, compared to last year is not great, but still, 10 hours of Web browsing and 7 hours of video playback is okay for 17-inch notebooks."
"Samsung gets all the basics right with the Book2 360. Its convertible design works well in both laptop and tablet modes, yet still manages to be highly portable, with impressive battery life and eye-catching AMOLED display. The Samsung Galaxy Book2 360 measures just 12.9mm thick and weighs 1.16kg, making it one of the most affordable ultra-portables currently available. It’s sturdily built too, so it can cope with life on the road."
