The MSI Raider GE67Hx has a better screen than the Lenovo IdeaPad 3 17" for general use, gaming and AI, engineering and design, content creation, and software development.
For general use, the Lenovo IdeaPad's larger screen provides ample space and clarity for everyday tasks, with its resolution and brightness offering comfortable viewing, but it falls short for gaming and 3D due to a lower refresh rate which makes fast-paced visuals less smooth. The MSI Raider excels for engineering and design as it likely boasts a wide color gamut ensuring accurate color reproduction critical for precise work, yet isn't ideal for gaming and 3D because, despite excellent color and resolution, the refresh rate isn't high enough for the best gaming experience. The choice between them depends on whether your priority is a vivid display for creativity or a more streamlined laptop for general productivity with occasional gaming and 3D use.

How the Lenovo IdeaPad 3 17" and the MSI Raider GE67Hx compare to other laptops
"The Lenovo IdeaPad 3 17" defies expectations. Indeed, it is just a minor upgrade over last year. However, this doesn’t make the laptop any less terrific. It’s got a great performance, courtesy of the Ryzen 5x25U processors. In addition, you get a pretty good battery life. Perhaps, the 2-hour decrease in video playback, compared to last year is not great, but still, 10 hours of Web browsing and 7 hours of video playback is okay for 17-inch notebooks."
"If you've wanted to dip your toes into PC gaming but can't let go of your console roots, the MSI Raider GE67 HX stakes out an attractive middle ground between the speed and versatility of PC gaming and the comfort and ease of a console. If you can overlook its noisy fans and chintzy touchpad, the Raider provides a powerhouse entertainment experience with an OLED screen that tops most household TVs. It's not cheap, but this gaming machine is more than the sum of its parts."
