For general use and portability, the Lenovo Flex 5 14 is a strong contender with its lower midrange price, good battery life, and lightweight design. It's versatile as a 2-in-1, offering a touchscreen and a decent performance for everyday tasks. However, if you're looking for top-tier performance for gaming, 3D rendering, or machine learning, the Lenovo Legion Pro 7i (2024) is the way to go, despite its premium price. It boasts a powerful GPU and CPU, a high-refresh-rate screen, and excellent color coverage, making it suitable for intensive gaming and engineering tasks. Keep in mind, it's heavier and has a shorter battery life, which might impact its portability. The Flex 5 is a better choice for those who value a balance between performance and mobility, while the Legion Pro 7i is tailored for users prioritizing high performance over portability and cost. Allen Ngo | May 2021
"The highlight of the latest IdeaPad Flex 5 14 is clearly its AMD CPU. The octa-core Ryzen 7 5700U is insanely fast even when compared to the best Tiger Lake Ultrabooks in the market or even Core H CPUs in many gaming laptops. It's a lot of raw processing power for what is supposed to be a budget 14-inch convertible. If your daily workloads can benefit from extra multi-thread CPU performance, then look no further than the inexpensive AMD-powered Lenovo IdeaPad Flex 5 14. For regular on-the-road browsing or video streaming, however, a slimmer and lighter 10th gen Core Yoga, Spectre, or XPS would be a more balanced option."

"Passionate gamers who want to play demanding modern titles with maximum details and don't mind spending the moolah will find the Lenovo Legion 7 Pro to be the right choice. The bright, sharp, and color-accurate 16:10 QHD 240 Hz display makes for an immersive viewing experience. The hardware is housed in a stylish chassis that feels premium and scores well in terms of workmanship and stability. Other aspects such as sound quality, input devices, and connectivity also seem to be near-perfect."
