The Lenovo Flex 5 14 offers a higher resolution, more memory, and larger storage capacity, which can be advantageous for demanding tasks and multitasking. However, its price is higher compared to the Lenovo IdeaPad 5 15". The IdeaPad provides a larger screen and likely longer battery life with a lower resolution, less storage, and memory, making it more suitable for general use on a budget. Consider the Flex 5 14 if performance is a priority and the IdeaPad 5 15" if cost and screen size are more important. Give Feedback

The Lenovo Flex 5 14 has a better screen than the Lenovo IdeaPad 5 15" for content creation, while the Lenovo IdeaPad 5 15" has a better screen for general use.
Both the Lenovo Flex 5 14 and the Lenovo IdeaPad 5 15" have screens with adequate resolution and brightness for daily tasks and sufficient detail for engineering software, but they lack wide color gamuts needed for precision in design work. For gaming and 3D applications, their screens fall short because they don't offer the high refresh rates that make fast-paced visuals smooth and engaging. Furthermore, the panel type in both models doesn't match the rich colors and viewing angles frequently sought by both professionals and gaming enthusiasts.

The Lenovo Flex 5 14 and the Lenovo IdeaPad 5 15" are both fair for gaming and 3D because they have similar integrated AMD Vega 8 graphics cards, which handle light gaming and 3D tasks but may struggle with high-end gaming or advanced 3D applications. Both models are limited by a 60Hz screen refresh rate, which is fine for casual gaming but not ideal for fast-paced games where higher refresh rates provide smoother motion and a competitive edge.

How the Lenovo Flex 5 14 and the Lenovo IdeaPad 5 15" compare to other laptops
"The highlight of the latest IdeaPad Flex 5 14 is clearly its AMD CPU. The octa-core Ryzen 7 5700U is insanely fast even when compared to the best Tiger Lake Ultrabooks in the market or even Core H CPUs in many gaming laptops. It's a lot of raw processing power for what is supposed to be a budget 14-inch convertible. If your daily workloads can benefit from extra multi-thread CPU performance, then look no further than the inexpensive AMD-powered Lenovo IdeaPad Flex 5 14. For regular on-the-road browsing or video streaming, however, a slimmer and lighter 10th gen Core Yoga, Spectre, or XPS would be a more balanced option."
"The Lenovo IdeaPad 5 is convincing due to its long battery life. The device scores points especially with its large battery and long battery runtimes combined with its low consumption. The CPU and GPU perform in the test as one would expect, and in line with what was familiar from the somewhat smaller 14-inch sister model, the Lenovo IdeaPad 5 14."
