For a balance of performance and value, the Lenovo Legion 5 16 (2024) is a strong contender. It offers a more recent and powerful processor, the Intel i9-14900HX, and a newer Nvidia RTX 4060 graphics card, which will serve you well in demanding tasks like gaming, 3D rendering, and machine learning. Its 16-inch screen with a 2560 x 1600 resolution and a 16:10 aspect ratio is excellent for productivity and entertainment, with a higher pixel density than the MSI. However, it's heavier and less portable, and the battery life is shorter.
On the other hand, the MSI Stealth GS77, while pricier, provides a larger 17.3-inch display with a wider color gamut and better color accuracy, making it ideal for creative professionals who need precise color representation. It's also lighter and slimmer, offering better portability and battery life. The RTX 3070 Ti, though not the latest, still delivers robust performance for gaming and creative work. It also comes with Windows 11 Pro, which may be preferable for business or advanced users.
In summary, choose the Lenovo Legion 5 16 (2024) for superior performance and a better screen for productivity tasks at the cost of portability and battery life. Opt for the MSI Stealth GS77 if you prioritize a larger, color-accurate display, portability, and longer battery life, and are willing to pay a premium for these features. Give Feedback

How the Lenovo Legion 5 16 (2024) and the MSI Stealth GS77 compare to other laptops
"The MSI Stealth GS77 is better than the GS76... mostly. The GS77 is a few steps forward and a few steps back from the GS76. Improvements are numerous including the stronger and more rigid skeleton, higher resolution webcam, larger clickpad, easier serviceability, relatively similar battery runtimes, newer display options, and higher performance at about the same TDP and TGP levels as before. CPU performance is better than expected even when compared to other laptops with Core i7 or Core i9 processors. The newer model feels more substantial than the outgoing one for higher quality impressions as well."
