The Lenovo Legion 5 16 offers superior performance for demanding tasks like gaming, 3D rendering, and machine learning with its high-end Intel i9 processor and Nvidia RTX 4060 GPU, paired with ample RAM and storage. Its 16-inch high-resolution display with a 16:10 aspect ratio and 240Hz refresh rate is excellent for fast-paced motion and detailed visual work, though it comes with a higher price tag. It's also built for expansion with additional RAM and storage slots. However, it's heavier and less portable, and the battery life is only fair. In contrast, the MSI Cyborg 15 is more budget-friendly and portable, making it a better choice for general use and moderate gaming. It still packs a punch with an Intel i7 processor and the same Nvidia RTX 4060 GPU, but with less RAM and storage out of the box. The 15.6-inch Full HD display with a 144Hz refresh rate is suitable for most users' needs, though it falls short in color accuracy and brightness compared to the Lenovo. It has fewer ports and no number pad on the keyboard, but it's lighter and has a longer battery life, making it more suitable for on-the-go use. Ultimately, if performance and screen quality are your top priorities and you don't mind the extra weight and cost, the Lenovo Legion 5 16 is the way to go. However, if you're looking for a more affordable and portable option that can still handle a variety of tasks well, the MSI Cyborg 15 is a solid choice. Give Feedback

NotebookCheck

Sascha Mölck | April 2023
"The focus of the MSI Cyborg 15 lies on a compromise of performance, mobility, and power consumption. Due to the reduced performance settings, the CPU and GPU perform below their capabilities. Nonetheless, their computing power is still sufficient for FHD gaming at high to maximum settings even then. The power consumption, which is low for a gaming laptop, can be translated into a good battery life. Realistic values of 7 to 8 h are still possible, despite the relatively small battery capacity of 53.5 Wh. Unfortunately the USB-C port doesn't offer any support for Power Delivery, which would be a sensible feature in the case of the Cyborg."
