The Samsung Galaxy Book2 360 is good for engineering and design, while the HP Victus 15 is only fair.
The HP Victus 15 is well-suited for engineering and design due to its Nvidia RTX 3050 graphics, which is favorable for handling graphical tasks, but it comes with less RAM compared to the Samsung Galaxy Book2 360 which offers more RAM for multitasking and an OLED touchscreen to enhance visual experience for design work. While the Victus 15 likely offers stronger gaming and engineering software performance, the Galaxy Book2 is more portable with its lighter weight and 2-in-1 convertible design, useful for presentations and on-the-go access to engineering and design applications.

The Samsung Galaxy Book2 360 has a better screen than the HP Victus 15 for general use, engineering and design, content creation, and software development.
If you prioritize a beautiful display for everyday tasks and professional design work, the Samsung Galaxy Book2 360 with its high resolution and bright screen, which also covers a wider color spectrum, is a superior choice. However, for gaming and 3D environments, both laptops may fall short due to lower refresh rates which are essential for smooth motion; gamers might prefer laptops specifically catering to their higher refresh rate needs. The HP Victus 15, while offering a satisfying visual experience for general use, may not be as vibrant for color-intensive tasks in engineering and design due to its more limited color range.

How the HP Victus 15 and the Samsung Galaxy Book2 360 compare to other laptops
Olivier Martin, Ryan Lim, and Yannick Khong | March 2023
"The HP Victus 15 is great for gaming. It's available with Intel 12th Gen. CPUs and NVIDIA discrete graphics, which are powerful enough to provide a smooth gaming experience in demanding AAA titles at 1080p. It has a nice keyboard and a fast SSD, as well as Wi-Fi 6 and Ethernet connectivity for low-latency online gaming. Unfortunately, its 144Hz display has a slow response time causing noticeable ghosting, and it doesn't support variable refresh rate to reduce screen tearing."
"Samsung gets all the basics right with the Book2 360. Its convertible design works well in both laptop and tablet modes, yet still manages to be highly portable, with impressive battery life and eye-catching AMOLED display. The Samsung Galaxy Book2 360 measures just 12.9mm thick and weighs 1.16kg, making it one of the most affordable ultra-portables currently available. It’s sturdily built too, so it can cope with life on the road."
