The Razer Blade 15 is very good for gaming and AI, while the HP Victus 15 is only fair.
The Razer Blade 15 delivers superior gaming and 3D performance compared to the HP Victus 15 due to its more powerful GPU and higher screen refresh rate. The HP Victus 15's GPU and refresh rate are less capable, which means it won't perform as well in graphically intensive tasks and may not be as smooth in rendering fast-paced scenes.

The Razer Blade 15 is very good for engineering and design, while the HP Victus 15 is only fair.
The Razer Blade 15 leads with a stronger CPU and GPU pair, larger RAM, and higher resolution, all of which contribute to improved performance and screen quality for engineering and design. Meanwhile, the HP Victus 15 has a less powerful CPU and GPU, less RAM, and a lower screen resolution, which means it can still handle engineering and design tasks but may not deliver the same level of performance or visual clarity as the Razer Blade 15.

The Razer Blade 15 has a better screen than the HP Victus 15 for general use, gaming and AI, engineering and design, content creation, and software development.
For general use, the HP Victus 15 offers suitable resolution and brightness for everyday tasks, but the Razer Blade 15 provides a sharper image and better brightness, enhancing your viewing experience for tasks like browsing and video streaming. When it comes to engineering and design, the Razer Blade 15 shines with its wider color gamut coverage, which is crucial for color-sensitive work, while the HP's more limited color range may lead to less accurate color representation. However, for 3D applications and gaming, neither the HP Victus 15 nor the Razer Blade 15 is ideal due to their lower refresh rates, meaning they may not keep up smoothly with fast-paced visuals or high-demand 3D rendering.

Olivier Martin, Ryan Lim, and Yannick Khong | March 2023
"The HP Victus 15 is great for gaming. It's available with Intel 12th Gen. CPUs and NVIDIA discrete graphics, which are powerful enough to provide a smooth gaming experience in demanding AAA titles at 1080p. It has a nice keyboard and a fast SSD, as well as Wi-Fi 6 and Ethernet connectivity for low-latency online gaming. Unfortunately, its 144Hz display has a slow response time causing noticeable ghosting, and it doesn't support variable refresh rate to reduce screen tearing."
"The 2022 Blade 15 offers roughly 15 to 25 percent faster graphics performance and 20 percent faster CPU performance over last year's Core i7-11800H and RTX 3080 model. Thankfully, the system doesn't need to run noticeably louder or warmer to achieve faster results, but both power consumption and battery life take a hit. The higher consumption in particular appears to be a trend amongst many 12th gen Core laptops including the Schenker Uniwill Technology GM7AG8P or MSI Vector GP66 when compared to their previous generation counterparts. We're also glad to not see below-average CPU performance which was the case for the 10th gen Core i7-10875H model."
