If budget is your primary concern and you need a more affordable option for everyday tasks and casual gaming, the HP Omen Transcend 14 is suitable, but keep in mind that the MSI Stealth GS77, while more expensive, offers superior performance which is particularly useful for demanding engineering software, 3D rendering, and high-end gaming. The MSI also typically features a larger screen which is great for productivity, but this means it's less portable than the smaller, lighter HP. Both machines have their strengths, so your choice should reflect whether performance and screen size or cost and portability align better with your needs. Give Feedback

The HP Omen Transcend 14 has a better screen than the MSI Stealth GS77 for general use, and engineering and design, while the MSI Stealth GS77 has a better screen for gaming and AI.
For general use, both the HP Omen Transcend 14 and the MSI Stealth GS77 offer displays with sharp resolutions and high brightness, ensuring clear and vivid images for everyday tasks like browsing or video streaming. In engineering and design applications, these laptops provide wide color gamuts, allowing professionals to work with a broad spectrum of colors for accurate graphic design and video editing. However, when it comes to gaming and 3D work, the lower refresh rates on these devices mean less fluid motion and slower screen updates, which could detract from the immersive and responsive experience gamers and 3D artists seek.

How the HP Omen Transcend 14 and the MSI Stealth GS77 compare to other laptops
"The MSI Stealth GS77 is better than the GS76... mostly. The GS77 is a few steps forward and a few steps back from the GS76. Improvements are numerous including the stronger and more rigid skeleton, higher resolution webcam, larger clickpad, easier serviceability, relatively similar battery runtimes, newer display options, and higher performance at about the same TDP and TGP levels as before. CPU performance is better than expected even when compared to other laptops with Core i7 or Core i9 processors. The newer model feels more substantial than the outgoing one for higher quality impressions as well."
