Considering your options, if high-performance tasks like 3D modeling, machine learning, and gaming are a priority and budget is less of a concern, the HP Omen 17 with its superior graphics card and processor could be worth the investment. It also has a larger, high-resolution screen and a more powerful battery, enhancing your experience when doing intensive tasks or multimedia consumption. However, this laptop is heavier and larger, making it less portable. On the other hand, the MSI Cyborg 15 is less expensive and lighter, making it more suitable for general use and easier to carry around. Its performance is suitable for everyday tasks, but it may fall short for demanding applications compared to the HP Omen 17. Additionally, it has a smaller storage capacity and its lower battery capacity may require more frequent charging depending on your usage. Give Feedback

The HP Omen 17 has a better screen than the MSI Cyborg 15 for general use, gaming and AI, engineering and design, software development, and content creation.
For general use, the HP Omen 17's superior panel type, resolution, and brightness enhance readability and video clarity, making it stand out compared to the MSI Cyborg 15's fair performance, which is still adequate for everyday tasks. In engineering and design, the color accuracy and breadth of color gamuts are crucial, and the HP Omen 17 displays colors more precisely, but both laptops may not completely satisfy professionals who need the utmost color fidelity. When focusing on gaming and 3D applications, the higher refresh rates are essential for smooth visuals, and both the HP Omen 17 and MSI Cyborg 15 fall short, impacting the gaming experience due to their lower refresh rates.

How the HP Omen 17 and the MSI Cyborg 15 compare to other laptops
"The HP Omen 17 (2022) gaming laptop has a stylish case and hardware with lots of potential. The HP Omen 17 is a fairly unobtrusive gaming laptop. A material combination of plastic and metal gives the case a high stability and a quality surface feel. The unspectacular design is pleasing and is hardly indicative of the laptop's high performance potential. The Intel Core i7-12700H in particular is able to perform well once again. The Nvidia GeForce RTX 3070 Ti is also strong in the gaming notebook. Demanding games run smoothly in Full HD resolution. The HP Omen 17 is a good gaming laptop that delivers partly excellent performance. But even at this performance level, cheaper alternatives are available."
"The focus of the MSI Cyborg 15 lies on a compromise of performance, mobility, and power consumption. Due to the reduced performance settings, the CPU and GPU perform below their capabilities. Nonetheless, their computing power is still sufficient for FHD gaming at high to maximum settings even then. The power consumption, which is low for a gaming laptop, can be translated into a good battery life. Realistic values of 7 to 8 h are still possible, despite the relatively small battery capacity of 53.5 Wh. Unfortunately the USB-C port doesn't offer any support for Power Delivery, which would be a sensible feature in the case of the Cyborg."
