Choosing between the HP Omen 16 and the LG Gram 16 depends on your usage priorities. If you require high performance for gaming or intensive engineering tasks, the HP Omen 16 with its more powerful processors and dedicated graphics card is more suitable. However, it's heavier and has a shorter battery life, making it less ideal for portability. The LG Gram 16 stands out for its lightweight design and longer battery life, suitable for general use and tasks that don't need a powerful graphics card, along with a higher resolution screen for better detail. The LG is usually less expensive, so it's more cost-effective if high-end gaming or performance isn't necessary. Give Feedback

The HP Omen 16 is very good for gaming and AI, while the LG Gram 16 is only fair.
The HP Omen 16 excels in gaming and 3D tasks due to its robust Nvidia RTX 4060 GPU which is better suited for graphic-intensive tasks and a high screen refresh rate of 165Hz, allowing for smoother gameplay and visualization. Meanwhile, the LG Gram 16 is equipped with an integrated Intel Iris Xe GPU which is less powerful for gaming, and its lower 60Hz screen refresh rate results in less fluid motion on-screen.

The HP Omen 16 and LG Gram 16 both feature displays with high resolution and brightness, offering crisp, clear images and wide viewing angles which are appreciated for everyday tasks and detail-oriented work like engineering design. These laptops also cover a broad range of color gamuts, ensuring accurate color reproduction crucial for professionals working in fields where precise color representation is paramount. However, for gaming and 3D applications where fast-moving visuals are common, the laptops' lower refresh rates may not provide as smooth of an experience as screens with higher refresh rates, which are better suited for these demands.

How the HP Omen 16 and the LG Gram 16 compare to other laptops
"The Omen 16 has proven to be a fairly good mid-range gaming laptop with all-around improvements compared to the Omen 15. The high overall performance level across all use cases, the long battery life, and the good FHD display constitute the main advantages of this HP laptop. The main drawbacks are the faulty touchpad (one-off?) and the high latencies that can be observed even after just opening the browser. Furthermore, the useless, preinstalled 30-day trial versions of various software also fall under the category "unnecessary"."
"The LG Gram 16 is a lightweight device with stability issues. The LG Gram 16Z90Q with a Core i7-1260P is made with portability in mind and places less of a focus on users with high demands on performance. The compact and light chassis is particularly practical when you are on the go. The device is not only comfortably small and lightweight, it also boasts a great battery life. When connected to mains, on the other hand, the 16-inch device is rather disappointing. The standard cooling mode causes extreme volatility in terms of CPU, SSD and iGPU performance. The meager stability of the chassis may also put off some potential buyers."
