If you're looking for higher performance capabilities for tasks like gaming, 3D modeling, or video editing, the HP Omen 15 is the better choice due to its more powerful graphics card. However, it comes with a higher price tag and is heavier, making it less portable. On the other hand, the MSI Thin GF63 is more affordable and lighter, meaning it’s easier to carry around, but it comes at the expense of performance, which may not be enough for more demanding applications. Battery capacity is also higher in the HP Omen 15, possibly translating into longer usage times between charges. Give Feedback

NotebookCheck

Florian Glaser | January 2021
"We consider around 1,260 Euros (~$1530) for a Ryzen 7 4800H, a GeForce RTX 2060, a 512 GB SSD and 16 GB dual-channel RAM to be a good offer that appeals to price-conscious gamers. Very high details are rarely a problem in the native resolution of 1,920 x 1,080. Buyers will also be spoiled with a top-notch battery life that even beats most other notebook classes. If HP now improves the speed of the WLAN module, the stability of the case and the repeatedly criticized picture quality, the competition will have to dress extra warmly."

Tom's Hardware

Charles Jeffries | November 2022
"The MSI GF63 Thin 11SC can be an admirable value for gamers and power users on a minimal budget. For just $599 as reviewed in its base model, its Intel Core i5 H-class processor and Nvidia GeForce GTX 1650 graphics perform much better than low-wattage CPUs and integrated graphics. That said, this is a light-class gaming laptop. Low scores in our demanding gaming benchmarks indicate using lower visual-quality settings will be required for playable performance."
