The HP Envy x360 15" is a 2-in-1 convertible that operates both as a laptop and a tablet, providing versatility for different use cases. This can be useful if you appreciate touch screen capabilities or often present content to others. It generally offers higher performance compared to the Lenovo IdeaPad 3 15", which makes it a better match for intensive tasks like editing videos or 3D modeling. On the other hand, the Lenovo is typically lighter and might be easier to carry around, benefiting users who prioritize portability. The display quality of the HP is generally better, offering a sharper and brighter view which can enhance the experience when watching videos or working on graphics. The Lenovo may have longer battery life, which is beneficial if you’re often on the move and can’t charge frequently. Lastly, the decision between the two may come down to the price; if budget is a top concern, the Lenovo may be more appealing due to its lower cost, but if performance and versatility are more critical, investing in the HP could be the better choice. CNET

Matt Elliott | January 2023
"Despite its good looks, stellar webcam and comfortable keyboard, the Envy x360 15 is hard to recommend because of its dim, 16:9 display. If the display isn't an issue for you, just be sure to wait for a good sale price. Otherwise, a more modern two-in-one with a 16:10 display such as the Dell Inspiron 16 2-in-1 or Lenovo Yoga 7i 16 provides a larger workspace without adding much to the size and weight of the system."

NotebookCheck

Sascha Mölck | February 2023
"The Lenovo IdeaPad 3 is an enduring office notebook with a powerful Ryzen APU. Lenovo's office all-rounder easily handles office and internet applications as well as modest games - the Ryzen 5 5625U APU and 16 GB of RAM make this possible. The CPU and GPU can work at consistently high clock rates. The emission values are okay, but the noise emissions should be lower under medium to full load. The relatively light notebook (approx. 1.6 kg) achieves practical battery runtimes of about 10 to 11 hours."
