The HP Envy x360 15" is a versatile 2-in-1 with a touchscreen, offering good value for general use with its AMD Ryzen 5 processor and integrated Vega 7 graphics. It's lightweight and has a decent battery life, making it a strong choice for everyday tasks and portability. However, its performance is limited for intensive tasks like gaming or engineering work due to its less powerful GPU and CPU. In contrast, the Lenovo Legion 5 16 (2024) is a powerhouse designed for high-performance tasks, featuring a top-tier Intel i9 processor and a dedicated Nvidia RTX 4060 graphics card. This laptop excels in gaming, 3D rendering, and machine learning, with a high refresh rate screen that's great for fast-motion content. It also has a larger, higher-resolution display with superior color accuracy, which is beneficial for detailed engineering work. However, it's heavier, more expensive, and has a shorter battery life, which impacts its portability. If you prioritize performance for demanding applications and gaming, and you're okay with a bulkier, pricier laptop with less battery life, the Lenovo Legion 5 16 is the way to go. But if you need a more affordable, portable device for everyday use with the flexibility of a 2-in-1 design, the HP Envy x360 15" is the better option. Give Feedback

CNET

Matt Elliott | January 2023
"Despite its good looks, stellar webcam and comfortable keyboard, the Envy x360 15 is hard to recommend because of its dim, 16:9 display. If the display isn't an issue for you, just be sure to wait for a good sale price. Otherwise, a more modern two-in-one with a 16:10 display such as the Dell Inspiron 16 2-in-1 or Lenovo Yoga 7i 16 provides a larger workspace without adding much to the size and weight of the system."
