For someone seeking a more budget-friendly option with the basics covered for everyday tasks such as browsing, office work, and media consumption, the HP 250 G10 is significantly less expensive and should suffice; however, it won't excel in performance with its lower resolution display and modest hardware. On the other hand, the Lenovo Legion Slim 7 16" costs more but offers much higher performance suitable for gaming, 3D applications, and intensive engineering software, paired with a high-resolution display and a dedicated graphics card. It's also a bit heavier, which may impact portability if you frequently travel with your laptop. The choice depends on whether you prioritize saving money and portability over high performance and a better display for advanced tasks. Give Feedback

Nikolay Palaozov | December 2023
"The HP 250 G10 is a decent budget device that surprises us with its high CPU frequencies under load. Still, our configuration has a Core i5-1335U which doesn’t require significant cooling, if choose a 28W P-series processor, maybe the situation with the clocks could be different. If you want to play some casual game after work, a memory in dual-channel is a must because it increases greatly the iGPU performance."

NotebookCheck

Benjamin Herzig | November 2022
"The Lenovo Legion Slim 7 is a slim Legion notebook that is just as excellent with Nvidia & Intel. However, the Legion Slim 7i slightly sullied by lacklustre battery life. You get a slim aluminium chassis, great input devices, decent port selection, fast high-quality WQXGA display and great performance. Supporting Thunderbolt 4 is one advantage of the Intel/Nvidia model tested in this review. Moreover, this variant has slightly higher CPU performance as well as better GPU performance in certain applications (e.g. CUDA-based apps). The Lenovo Legion S7i is thin, premium and performant – but less efficient than its AMD counterpart."
