The Gigabyte G5 is better suited for gaming and engineering tasks due to its dedicated Nvidia RTX 4060 GPU, making it well-suited for high-performance needs but it's bulkier and has a shorter battery life. On the other hand, the MSI Prestige 14 is more portable and has a longer battery life with its integrated Intel Iris Xe graphics, ideal for business and general use, and it comes with more RAM. Both have similar storage capacity and are within a lower midrange price bracket. If portability and battery life are critical, go with the MSI Prestige 14; if performance in demanding applications is a priority, choose the Gigabyte G5. Give Feedback

How the Gigabyte G5 and the MSI Prestige 14 compare to other laptops
"The Gigabyte G5 KE is a midrange gaming laptop that checks most boxes. Gigabyte makes good use of the Core i5-12500H and RTX 3060 Laptop GPU combo, and we find no untoward issues with overall performance. The dual-fan quad-heatpipe cooling arrangement does well to ensure that the underlying hardware doesn't throttle under load. That being said, the display is below par when compared to 2023 standards, especially when competing devices."
"The MSI Prestige 14” is excellent for productivity and business use cases, but it is not ideal for creators or visual content editors. The Prestige was able to power through days of email, spreadsheets, and text documents without breaking a sweat and was a joy to use. The additional ports were a breath of fresh air, as most laptops seem to be moving towards just Thunderbolt ports. The security options made signing in effortless, with two quick, more secure, and faster options than even the most complex alphanumeric passcode."
