If your priority is long battery life and a higher resolution screen with touch capabilities for everyday tasks, consider the Lenovo IdeaPad Slim 7i Pro; it's also more portable due to its lighter weight and smaller size. On the other hand, if you need more power for gaming or graphics-intensive applications, the Gigabyte G5 has a dedicated graphics card and a higher refresh rate screen, although it's heavier and has shorter battery life. Both have similar storage capacity and are priced similarly, but the Lenovo has double the RAM, which can improve multitasking and overall performance for non-gaming tasks. Give Feedback

The Lenovo IdeaPad Slim 7i Pro has a better screen than the Gigabyte G5 for general use, gaming and AI, engineering and design, content creation, and software development.
The Lenovo IdeaPad Slim 7i Pro is ideal for general use and engineering tasks due to its higher resolution and brightness, which enhance visibility and detail, and its strong color gamut coverage ensures accuracy important for design work. However, for Gaming and 3D applications, it falls short because it lacks a high refresh rate, which is crucial for smooth motion and gameplay. The Gigabyte G5 has a less impressive panel that's adequate for day-to-day activities and has the necessary resolution for engineering software, but its screen isn't sharp or vibrant enough for high-end design work and its low refresh rate hampers gaming performance.

How the Gigabyte G5 and the Lenovo IdeaPad Slim 7i Pro compare to other laptops
"The Gigabyte G5 KE is a midrange gaming laptop that checks most boxes. Gigabyte makes good use of the Core i5-12500H and RTX 3060 Laptop GPU combo, and we find no untoward issues with overall performance. The dual-fan quad-heatpipe cooling arrangement does well to ensure that the underlying hardware doesn't throttle under load. That being said, the display is below par when compared to 2023 standards, especially when competing devices."
"The main selling point of the IdeaPad Slim 7i Pro versus a regular IdeaPad Slim 7 is its faster Core H-series CPU. In reality, the Core i7-11370H is only marginally faster than the U-series Core i7-1165G7 to the point where most users are not likely to notice the benefits. The slight performance uptick comes at the cost of slightly higher power consumption as well meaning owners will have to deal with potentially warmer temperatures or louder fans to compensate. Unless if you happen to be a power user, then the regular non-Pro model will be more than enough. Once you go 90 Hz, you can't go back."
