The Gigabyte Aorus 7 offers a larger screen and higher refresh rate, which can be beneficial for gaming or multitasking, but it is heavier and has a shorter battery life, making it less portable than the MSI Cyborg 15. Although the Aorus 7 and Cyborg 15 both feature the same graphics card, the Cyborg 15 is lighter with a longer battery life and has a higher-grade processor, which may provide a slightly better performance, especially for CPU-intensive tasks. However, the Aorus 7 has more RAM, which is key for tasks that require a lot of memory. If budget is a concern, note that the Cyborg 15 typically costs less. Consider how you weigh screen size, portability, performance, and price when making your choice. Give Feedback

The Gigabyte Aorus 7 has a better screen than the MSI Cyborg 15 for general use, gaming and AI, and engineering and design.
The Gigabyte Aorus 7 likely offers better clarity and detail, which is essential for general use, due to its higher resolution and brightness, but it might not have a high enough refresh rate for smooth gaming experiences. The MSI Cyborg 15's screen may be adequate for everyday tasks and some engineering applications with decent resolution and acceptable color representation, but its performance for 3D applications could be hindered by modest refresh rates. Both may not be ideal for color-critical work or fast-paced gaming, but the trade-offs are acceptable for users with a focus on general computing and non-gaming related engineering tasks.

How the Gigabyte Aorus 7 and the MSI Cyborg 15 compare to other laptops
"The Gigabyte Aorus 7 is a gaming laptop that is pitched at perhaps the hardest market to get right: the mid-range. So, unlike high-end gaming laptops that can throw the latest and greatest components together in a bid to attract gamers with plenty of money to spend, or budget gaming laptops that can make wise cuts that are justified as long as the price is low enough, mid-rangers like the Gigabyte Aorus 7 have to balance the two."
"The focus of the MSI Cyborg 15 lies on a compromise of performance, mobility, and power consumption. Due to the reduced performance settings, the CPU and GPU perform below their capabilities. Nonetheless, their computing power is still sufficient for FHD gaming at high to maximum settings even then. The power consumption, which is low for a gaming laptop, can be translated into a good battery life. Realistic values of 7 to 8 h are still possible, despite the relatively small battery capacity of 53.5 Wh. Unfortunately the USB-C port doesn't offer any support for Power Delivery, which would be a sensible feature in the case of the Cyborg."
