Given your considerations, the Gigabyte Aorus 17H generally costing less than the MSI Stealth GS77, the Gigabyte could be a better fit for those on a tighter budget. The Aorus 17H offers solid performance for engineering tasks and gaming, with a capable processor and high-end graphics. However, the MSI Stealth GS77, while more expensive, provides a higher resolution display which might be preferred for design work or media consumption, and it's slightly lighter, enhancing portability. It also features double the memory, which can be crucial for multitasking and resource-intensive tasks. Ultimately, if price is a major concern and you want good performance, choose the Aorus 17H. If you desire a higher resolution screen, more memory, and value a lighter machine for frequent travel, the extra cost of the Stealth GS77 may be justified. Give Feedback

How the Gigabyte Aorus 17H and the MSI Stealth GS77 compare to other laptops
"Overall though, it’s *lots of swearing* fast, seriously. For work, rendering, gaming, it doesn’t matter, this is a true weapon of performance that’s going to run rings around most high-end desktop systems. If you absolutely have to game at ultra-high refresh rates on the go (but within thinking distance of a plug socket), this is the ticket. I can’t see such an extreme being that appealing to everyone, but if you take your gaming seriously, or even professionally, there’s nothing else out there that comes close that you can still fit in your backpack and travel with."
"The MSI Stealth GS77 is better than the GS76... mostly. The GS77 is a few steps forward and a few steps back from the GS76. Improvements are numerous including the stronger and more rigid skeleton, higher resolution webcam, larger clickpad, easier serviceability, relatively similar battery runtimes, newer display options, and higher performance at about the same TDP and TGP levels as before. CPU performance is better than expected even when compared to other laptops with Core i7 or Core i9 processors. The newer model feels more substantial than the outgoing one for higher quality impressions as well."
