Choose the Gigabyte Aorus 17H if you're looking for a less expensive option with ample performance for general use and gaming; its lighter weight also makes it more portable, though battery life is shorter. If top performance for 3D rendering, machine learning, and intensive engineering tasks is your priority, and you're willing to pay more, then the MSI Stealth 17, offering a more powerful processor, superior graphics, more memory and storage, and a better display with higher resolution, is the right pick, but it is heavier and has similarly limited battery life. Both models feature large screens, making them less suited for frequent travel. Give Feedback

The MSI Stealth 17 has a better screen than the Gigabyte Aorus 17H for general use, gaming and AI, engineering and design, content creation, and software development.
For general use, where clarity, detail, and readable text are key, both the Gigabyte Aorus 17H and MSI Stealth 17 offer high resolutions and bright displays that make them suitable for everyday tasks like web browsing, watching videos, and document editing. When it comes to engineering and design, professionals often need accurate color representation; the MSI Stealth 17 stands out with a wider color gamut, providing more precise shades crucial for design work than the Gigabyte Aorus 17H. However, for gaming and 3D applications, where fast-moving visuals are common, the lower refresh rates on both the Gigabyte Aorus 17H and MSI Stealth 17 might not deliver the smoothest experience that gamers typically look for.

How the Gigabyte Aorus 17H and the MSI Stealth 17 compare to other laptops
"Overall though, it’s *lots of swearing* fast, seriously. For work, rendering, gaming, it doesn’t matter, this is a true weapon of performance that’s going to run rings around most high-end desktop systems. If you absolutely have to game at ultra-high refresh rates on the go (but within thinking distance of a plug socket), this is the ticket. I can’t see such an extreme being that appealing to everyone, but if you take your gaming seriously, or even professionally, there’s nothing else out there that comes close that you can still fit in your backpack and travel with."
"The MSI Stealth 17 Studio is a laptop with a quiet RTX 4080 for almost every occasion. The MSI Stealth 17 Studio is equally capable of high-level media processing and playing current games. It remains pleasantly quiet, even if a few percentage points of power have had to be sacrificed in the process. But, it is not quite perfect: To some extent, the Stealth 17 is well thought out. It packs tons of graphics power and high-end components in a slim case. The laptop's cooling system can be set such that, noise-wise, it doesn't even reach low volume. However, small flaws cloud otherwise exceptionally positive impressions."
