The Gigabyte Aorus 17H is less expensive than the MSI Raider GE76 and it also offers a higher refresh rate display—good for fast-paced games—but it has a lower resolution screen. If you prioritize gaming performance and want to save some money, the Aorus 17H might be the better choice. However, the MSI Raider GE76 comes with more RAM, a higher resolution display for clearer images, and enjoy better performance in engineering and multi-threaded tasks. Choose the Raider GE76 if you require a machine for intensive workloads and high-quality visuals and you're willing to pay the premium. Both laptops have similar battery life and are comparably heavy, making portability a challenge for each. Give Feedback

The MSI Raider GE76 has a better screen than the Gigabyte Aorus 17H for general use, gaming and AI, engineering and design, content creation, and software development.
If you prioritize a clear and vibrant display for daily tasks and professional design work, both the Gigabyte Aorus 17H and MSI Raider GE76 offer high resolutions and brightness levels that deliver crisp visuals and good color representation, important for general use and engineering. The MSI stands out for design applications due to its wider color gamut, allowing for more accurate color work in engineering and design tasks. However, for fast-paced 3D gaming, neither laptop's display is ideal, as they lack high refresh rates, which are crucial for smooth motion, though they still provide sufficient resolution and panel quality for a decent viewing experience.

Although they have very similar scores, PerfectRec considers MSI Raider GE76 to be excellent for engineering and design, while the Gigabyte Aorus 17H is very good.
The MSI Raider GE76 is exceptionally suited for engineering and design work because it has double the amount of RAM and a more powerful graphics card (Nvidia RTX 3080 Ti) than the Gigabyte Aorus 17H, which still delivers very good performance with a capable processor (Intel i7-13700H) and a high-quality graphics card (Nvidia RTX 4080). While the Aorus 17H is a strong contender, especially in screen quality, the additional memory and superior GPU in the Raider GE76 make it a better choice for the most intensive tasks, albeit it being less portable due to its heavier weight.

How the Gigabyte Aorus 17H and the MSI Raider GE76 compare to other laptops
"Overall though, it’s *lots of swearing* fast, seriously. For work, rendering, gaming, it doesn’t matter, this is a true weapon of performance that’s going to run rings around most high-end desktop systems. If you absolutely have to game at ultra-high refresh rates on the go (but within thinking distance of a plug socket), this is the ticket. I can’t see such an extreme being that appealing to everyone, but if you take your gaming seriously, or even professionally, there’s nothing else out there that comes close that you can still fit in your backpack and travel with."
"The MSI Raider GE76: with Alder Lake and RTX 3080 Ti to gaming heaven. Yes, MSI could improve some aspects (like the quality of the webcam), but the manufacturer offers a very convincing and balanced overall package. The biggest advantage is definitely the immense performance potential. The combination of Core i9-12900HK, GeForce RTX 3080 Ti, 32 GB DDR5 RAM and two NVMe SSDs offers a lot of performance for the next couple of years and plenty of power for 3D applications. Most titles would run smoothly on an external 4K screen no matter the quality preset. We came away impressed with the integrated 360 Hz panel's fast response times and good color accuracy."
