The Gigabyte Aorus 17H is generally more expensive than the MSI Prestige 15 but offers significantly better performance for 3D rendering, machine learning, gaming, and other intensive tasks with a more powerful processor and graphics card. However, it's less portable due to a larger size and weight. On the other hand, the MSI Prestige 15 is more affordable, has a better battery life, and is lighter, making it more suitable for general use and carrying around. Both have similar screen sizes and type, but the Gigabyte stands out for activities that require high refresh rates and benefits from a larger battery. If your priority is high performance for tasks like gaming or engineering software, the Gigabyte is the better option, despite the extra weight and higher cost. If portability, battery life, and value for money are more important, especially for everyday tasks and some light creative work, then the MSI is a more suitable choice. Give Feedback

The Gigabyte Aorus 17H is very good for gaming and AI, while the MSI Prestige 15 is only fair.
The Gigabyte Aorus 17H outshines the MSI Prestige 15 in gaming and 3D due to the Aorus 17H's higher-end graphics card and much higher screen refresh rate, which are crucial for smooth and detailed gaming visuals. While both have quality screen panels and capable CPUs, it is the GPU and refresh rate that significantly set them apart for gaming performance.

The Gigabyte Aorus 17H has a better screen than the MSI Prestige 15 for general use, gaming and AI, engineering and design, software development, and content creation.
The Gigabyte Aorus 17H's screen, with high resolution and brightness, offers a crisp and clear display suitable for everyday tasks and detailed engineering work but falls short for gaming and 3D applications due to a lower refresh rate. Conversely, the MSI Prestige 15, while also boasting a high-resolution display with adequate brightness for daily use and proficient color range for engineering and design, doesn't meet the high refresh rate demands typically needed for smooth gaming and 3D model rendering. Both laptops, despite their strong suits in other areas, might disappoint avid gamers or professionals in 3D fields seeking fluid motion and rapid screen updates.

How the Gigabyte Aorus 17H and the MSI Prestige 15 compare to other laptops
"Overall though, it’s *lots of swearing* fast, seriously. For work, rendering, gaming, it doesn’t matter, this is a true weapon of performance that’s going to run rings around most high-end desktop systems. If you absolutely have to game at ultra-high refresh rates on the go (but within thinking distance of a plug socket), this is the ticket. I can’t see such an extreme being that appealing to everyone, but if you take your gaming seriously, or even professionally, there’s nothing else out there that comes close that you can still fit in your backpack and travel with."
"The MSI Prestige 15 offers a dazzling 4K image quality, and solid performance. The MSI Prestige 15 appears to consistently implement the guiding principle of throttling the solid and efficient hardware to such an extent that content creation succeeds perfectly. Performance-hungry tasks, on the other hand, are slowed down a little by the reduced power consumption. Conversely, this means that the case remains relatively cool and the dual fan subdued. The battery life also benefits somewhat. So the losses aren't really dramatic because full performance is still available for short bursts."
