If you need a powerful laptop for intensive engineering tasks, 3D rendering, or gaming, the Gigabyte Aorus 17H will be the superior choice due to its high-performance processor and advanced graphics card. However, it's less portable due to its larger size and heavier weight, and the battery life is not as long as the Lenovo IdeaPad Slim 7i Pro. On the other hand, if you prefer something more affordable, lightweight, and with better battery life for general use or less demanding tasks, and a higher resolution touchscreen is beneficial, the Slim 7i Pro is a better fit. Keep in mind though that the Slim 7i Pro's performance in demanding tasks will be considerably less. Give Feedback

The Gigabyte Aorus 17H is very good for gaming and AI, while the Lenovo IdeaPad Slim 7i Pro is only fair.
The Gigabyte Aorus 17H offers superior gaming and 3D performance mainly because it's equipped with a more powerful Nvidia RTX 4080 GPU and a higher screen refresh rate of 360, compared to the Lenovo IdeaPad Slim 7i Pro, which has a less powerful integrated Intel Iris Xe graphics and a lower screen refresh rate of 90. While the IdeaPad Slim 7i Pro sports a higher resolution and can handle light gaming, it can't match the Aorus 17H in processing power and smoothness essential for demanding gaming and 3D tasks.

The Gigabyte Aorus 17H has a better screen than the Lenovo IdeaPad Slim 7i Pro for gaming and AI, software development, and content creation, while the Lenovo IdeaPad Slim 7i Pro has a better screen for engineering and design.
The Gigabyte Aorus 17H likely has a high-resolution display with good brightness, making it suitable for daily tasks and some professional design work, but its refresh rate may not be high enough for smooth gaming and 3D experiences. The Lenovo IdeaPad Slim 7i Pro probably offers similar advantages in terms of resolution and brightness for everyday use and engineering tasks, along with a wide color gamut that benefits color-sensitive work. However, like the Aorus, it may fall short for gaming and 3D content due to a lower refresh rate, which is essential for the fluid motion visuals gamers and 3D artists seek.

How the Gigabyte Aorus 17H and the Lenovo IdeaPad Slim 7i Pro compare to other laptops
"Overall though, it’s *lots of swearing* fast, seriously. For work, rendering, gaming, it doesn’t matter, this is a true weapon of performance that’s going to run rings around most high-end desktop systems. If you absolutely have to game at ultra-high refresh rates on the go (but within thinking distance of a plug socket), this is the ticket. I can’t see such an extreme being that appealing to everyone, but if you take your gaming seriously, or even professionally, there’s nothing else out there that comes close that you can still fit in your backpack and travel with."
"The main selling point of the IdeaPad Slim 7i Pro versus a regular IdeaPad Slim 7 is its faster Core H-series CPU. In reality, the Core i7-11370H is only marginally faster than the U-series Core i7-1165G7 to the point where most users are not likely to notice the benefits. The slight performance uptick comes at the cost of slightly higher power consumption as well meaning owners will have to deal with potentially warmer temperatures or louder fans to compensate. Unless if you happen to be a power user, then the regular non-Pro model will be more than enough. Once you go 90 Hz, you can't go back."
