The Gigabyte Aorus 17H is pricier but offers superior performance suitable for intensive gaming, engineering, and 3D/machine learning tasks due to its powerful processor and high-end GPU. It's less portable due to its larger size and weight, and has a shorter battery life. The Lenovo IdeaPad Slim 5i is more affordable, lighter, and offers longer battery life, making it a better choice for general use and portability. Its performance is adequate for everyday tasks but not suited for heavy graphics or compute-intensive applications. Choose based on your primary needs: performance and specialized tasks for the Aorus, or general use and mobility for the IdeaPad. Give Feedback

Peter Donnell | February 2023
"Overall though, it’s *lots of swearing* fast, seriously. For work, rendering, gaming, it doesn’t matter, this is a true weapon of performance that’s going to run rings around most high-end desktop systems. If you absolutely have to game at ultra-high refresh rates on the go (but within thinking distance of a plug socket), this is the ticket. I can’t see such an extreme being that appealing to everyone, but if you take your gaming seriously, or even professionally, there’s nothing else out there that comes close that you can still fit in your backpack and travel with."

"The device is made for average work loads and if your work has a lot to do with online browsing, using apps that are not power-hungry and streaming videos. The looks are really good and the device in itself is not a heavy one. And with Intel 11th-gen Core processor, you might sail through most of your work without complaints."
