The Gigabyte Aorus 17H has a better screen than the HP Pavilion 15 for general use, gaming and AI, engineering and design, software development, and content creation.
The Gigabyte Aorus 17H likely has a high-resolution display with vibrant colors and good brightness levels, which makes it suitable for tasks like browsing and watching videos, explaining its good screen quality for general use; for engineering and design, this screen likely covers a wider range of color gamuts, ensuring accurate color depiction. On the other hand, its lower refresh rate may not be ideal for the fast-paced visuals in gaming and 3D applications. The HP Pavilion 15, with its poorer screen quality rating across the board, might have a lower resolution, dimmer screen, and limited color range, making it less suitable for both everyday tasks and specialized applications like engineering and gaming.

"Overall though, it’s *lots of swearing* fast, seriously. For work, rendering, gaming, it doesn’t matter, this is a true weapon of performance that’s going to run rings around most high-end desktop systems. If you absolutely have to game at ultra-high refresh rates on the go (but within thinking distance of a plug socket), this is the ticket. I can’t see such an extreme being that appealing to everyone, but if you take your gaming seriously, or even professionally, there’s nothing else out there that comes close that you can still fit in your backpack and travel with."
"The HP Pavilion 15 carries a fair amount of power and a sharp display in its handsome slimline shell. It's not perfect, but it's a hard worker. This is wonderfully designed and totes a heck of a lot of desktop power, with the added benefit of a decent webcam and a full-sized keyboard. If you're getting down to business on a budget, it's a great fit."
