If you prioritize gaming or high-performance tasks like 3D rendering and need better graphic capabilities, with enough budget, the Aorus 17 with its more powerful GPU would be beneficial. However, for slightly less intensive engineering work and if you'd appreciate saving some money, the Aorus 7 with a newer release date is still a capable option. Both have large screens and similar battery life, but neither is especially portable due to their size and weight.
