If you prioritize a higher resolution and OLED screen technology in a laptop, consider the Gigabyte Aero 5, while acknowledging a heavier build and a lower refresh rate. However, if portability and higher screen refresh rates are more important for smoother visuals, especially in fast-paced games, the Lenovo Legion Slim 7 may be a better choice. The Lenovo also provides a more contemporary chipset, potentially offering an edge in recent software optimizations, yet both laptops offer similar battery life and performance capabilities. Essentially, the Gigabyte enhances visual experiences at the cost of portability and refresh rate, while the Lenovo balances a sleeker design with high-refresh gameplay. Give Feedback

The Gigabyte Aero 5 has a better screen than the Lenovo Legion Slim 7 for general use, and engineering and design, while the Lenovo Legion Slim 7 has a better screen for gaming and AI, and content creation.
For general use, the Gigabyte Aero 5's superior resolution and brightness provide a clear and vivid display, while its panel type ensures wide viewing angles, making it ideal for a variety of everyday tasks. The panel's high color accuracy and broad color gamut make the Aero 5 suitable for engineering and design work where precise color representation is crucial. However, for gaming and 3D applications, the Aero's lower refresh rate may result in less fluid motion compared to laptops designed specifically for these purposes, despite having a decent resolution and panel type.

How the Gigabyte Aero 5 and the Lenovo Legion Slim 7 16" compare to other laptops
"It is unfortunate that the Gigabyte AERO notebook series have seem to lost its charm, as it’s not exactly any much different from the AORUS series now. Regardless, content creators and designers will certainly still appreciate the features on the AERO 5 XE4, which are fundamental to their work. This largely revolved around the notebook’s display, which is colour calibrated and validated, high resolution (4K) and with great AMOLED colour representation. Now that the AERO 5 XE4 has improved its performance with the latest CPU and GPU, the professionals can also appreciate the improved productivity from the notebook."
"The Lenovo Legion Slim 7 is a slim Legion notebook that is just as excellent with Nvidia & Intel. However, the Legion Slim 7i slightly sullied by lacklustre battery life. You get a slim aluminium chassis, great input devices, decent port selection, fast high-quality WQXGA display and great performance. Supporting Thunderbolt 4 is one advantage of the Intel/Nvidia model tested in this review. Moreover, this variant has slightly higher CPU performance as well as better GPU performance in certain applications (e.g. CUDA-based apps). The Lenovo Legion S7i is thin, premium and performant – but less efficient than its AMD counterpart."
