The Gigabyte Aero 17 is a higher-priced laptop that offers powerful performance ideal for intensive tasks like 3D rendering, machine learning, and engineering work due to its high-end graphics card and processor. It has a Mini LED display with high resolution, which enhances the visual experience, but this also contributes to a shorter battery life. Consider this laptop if you need top-notch display quality and can manage less portability. On the other hand, the Lenovo IdeaPad 3 17" is more budget-friendly and suitable for general use with decent battery life and portability. Its performance is more modest, making it better suited for everyday tasks rather than demanding applications. If cost and battery life are more important to you than high-end performance and you're not engaging in graphics-intensive tasks, the Lenovo may serve you well. Give Feedback

The Gigabyte Aero 17 is very good for general use, while the Lenovo IdeaPad 3 17" is good.
The Gigabyte Aero 17 offers a more powerful CPU and GPU, higher RAM, and superior screen quality, which make it well-suited for general use that may include demanding tasks, but it's less portable and has shorter battery life compared to the Lenovo IdeaPad 3, which has a satisfactory CPU for everyday tasks, decent screen quality, and offers better portability with longer battery life, making it ideal for general use for those prioritizing mobility. The Lenovo also tends to be quieter and cooler under load, which might be preferred by users sensitive to operational noise and heat.

The Gigabyte Aero 17 is good for gaming and AI, while the Lenovo IdeaPad 3 17" is only fair.
The Gigabyte Aero 17, with its Nvidia RTX 3070 Ti graphics card and 120Hz refresh rate display, offers superior gaming and 3D performance compared to the Lenovo IdeaPad 3 17", which uses the integrated AMD Ryzen Vega 7 graphics with a standard 60Hz refresh rate screen. The Aero's powerful GPU and higher refresh rate translate to smoother gameplay and better handling of complex 3D tasks, while the IdeaPad's integrated graphics and lower refresh rate are sufficient for more casual gaming and basic 3D applications.

The Gigabyte Aero 17 is very good for engineering and design, while the Lenovo IdeaPad 3 17" is only fair.
The Gigabyte Aero 17 outperforms the Lenovo IdeaPad 3 17" for engineering and design use due to its superior CPU, double the RAM, a high-end dedicated GPU, and an exceptional screen quality featuring higher resolution, brightness, and color coverage, essential for detailed and color-sensitive work. While both are 17-inch models impacting portability, the Aero 17's higher weight and lower battery life trade-off for its performance and display advantages, which the IdeaPad 3 17" with its integrated GPU and lower screen specs cannot match, despite being lighter and offering longer battery life.

The Gigabyte Aero 17 has a better screen than the Lenovo IdeaPad 3 17" for general use, gaming and AI, engineering and design, software development, and content creation.
If you prioritize a sharp, vivid display for tasks like document editing, web browsing, and video streaming, the Gigabyte Aero 17's high resolution and brightness make it a superior choice over the Lenovo IdeaPad 3. For those focused on engineering and design work, the Aero's coverage of professional color spaces ensures accurate color representation, an essential aspect the IdeaPad 3 cannot match. However, if fast-paced games or 3D rendering is your concern, the Aero may disappoint with its lower refresh rate, while the IdeaPad 3 also falls short in this aspect, making neither ideal for this particular use.

How the Gigabyte Aero 17 and the Lenovo IdeaPad 3 17" compare to other laptops
"Not only is the Aero 17 a very good laptop for gamers but also for content creators. With the upgrade to the Intel Core i9-11980HK, Gigabyte particularly improved the system performance. In addition, the hardware package is rounded by the extremely fast SSD and 32 GB of working memory in dual-channel mode. Compared to the predecessor, the battery life is reduced only moderately, and the 4K display also basically keeps its good qualities."
"The Lenovo IdeaPad 3 17" defies expectations. Indeed, it is just a minor upgrade over last year. However, this doesn’t make the laptop any less terrific. It’s got a great performance, courtesy of the Ryzen 5x25U processors. In addition, you get a pretty good battery life. Perhaps, the 2-hour decrease in video playback, compared to last year is not great, but still, 10 hours of Web browsing and 7 hours of video playback is okay for 17-inch notebooks."
