Choosing between the Gigabyte Aero 17 and the Gigabyte Aorus 7, consider that the Aero 17 is typically more expensive, offers a higher resolution Mini LED display with better color accuracy, and comes with a more powerful graphics card suited for intensive tasks like 3D rendering or engineering applications. It also has a higher build and screen quality. In contrast, the Aorus 7 is less expensive, has an IPS screen with a higher refresh rate good for smooth gaming, and a newer processor but with slightly lower performance for demanding tasks. Both feature similar battery life, but the Aero 17 is marginally heavier, which may affect portability. Give Feedback

NotebookCheck

Mike Wobker | May 2021
"Not only is the Aero 17 a very good laptop for gamers but also for content creators. With the upgrade to the Intel Core i9-11980HK, Gigabyte particularly improved the system performance. In addition, the hardware package is rounded by the extremely fast SSD and 32 GB of working memory in dual-channel mode. Compared to the predecessor, the battery life is reduced only moderately, and the 4K display also basically keeps its good qualities."

TechRadar

Matt Hanson | July 2020
"The Gigabyte Aorus 7 is a gaming laptop that is pitched at perhaps the hardest market to get right: the mid-range. So, unlike high-end gaming laptops that can throw the latest and greatest components together in a bid to attract gamers with plenty of money to spend, or budget gaming laptops that can make wise cuts that are justified as long as the price is low enough, mid-rangers like the Gigabyte Aorus 7 have to balance the two."
