The Lenovo Legion 5 15" offers a higher resolution display and a more recent graphics card which suggest better performance for gaming and graphics-intensive tasks than the Gigabyte A7, but also means it may be slightly less battery-efficient. On the other hand, the Gigabyte A7 comes with a larger screen which could be beneficial if screen size is a priority over resolution and cutting-edge graphics capabilities. In terms of portability, the Lenovo is slightly lighter and thinner, making it easier to carry around. Both run on Windows 11 Home and have similar storage and memory, ensuring a level playing field for general productivity tasks. Give Feedback

The Lenovo Legion 5 15" has a better screen than the Gigabyte A7 for general use, gaming and AI, engineering and design, and content creation.
The Gigabyte A7 has a display that provides clear, vivid images thanks to its resolution and panel type which are crucial for general tasks, and its color gamut coverage is adequate for most engineering and design work. However, for gaming and 3D applications, its lower refresh rate could lead to less smooth visuals which are particularly noticeable in fast-paced scenarios. The Lenovo Legion 5 15" offers a higher overall screen quality for general use due to its superior brightness and sharpness, while still holding up well for engineering and design because of its good color accuracy, but just like the Gigabyte A7, it falls short for gaming and 3D with its less-than-ideal refresh rate.

How the Gigabyte A7 and the Lenovo Legion 5 15" compare to other laptops
"In terms of looks, the Gigabyte A7 X1 is certainly not a trendy, slim, and ultra-mobile gaming laptop. But it does what it's supposed to do, namely bringing games smoothly onto the screen, very well. Both the processor and the GeForce RTX 3070 are able to unleash their performance without restrictions thanks to the well-ventilated case. The Gigabyte A7 X1 brings modern games smoothly onto the screen and offers excellent maintenance options."
"The Lenovo Legion 5 15 is an affordable gaming laptop with a lot of power. The new AMD processor Ryzen 7 5800H offers plenty of performance and it is also very efficient. The combination with the fast 130W version of the GeForce RTX 3060 ensures high gaming performance. We also like the fast 165 Hz display with the 1080p resolution. The automatic graphics switching causes some problems with stutters, which are very annoying. If you do not need long battery runtimes, you should definitely deactivate the hybrid graphics mode in Lenovo's Vantage app. The Legion 5 15 is never silent."
