The Gigabyte A5 comes at a lower mid-range price and offers better 3D, machine learning, and gaming performance due to its AMD Ryzen 5 5600H processor and Nvidia RTX 3060 GPU. However, it's heavier and has a shorter battery life. The LG Gram 16, also positioned at a lower mid-range price, excels in portability thanks to its light weight and long battery life, plus it sports a higher-resolution screen. Its performance for general and engineering use is sufficient, backed by an Intel i7-1260P and integrated Iris Xe graphics, but it won't match the A5 for graphics-intensive tasks. Give Feedback

The LG Gram 16 and Gigabyte A5 are both good for general use, though the LG Gram 16 is somewhat better.
The Gigabyte A5's AMD Ryzen CPU and dedicated Nvidia RTX 3060 graphics make it a solid performer for general use, complemented by ample RAM and a good-quality screen; however, its portability and battery life are less impressive, making it better suited for stationary use. On the other hand, the LG Gram 16 shines in portability with its light weight and long battery life, and though it features an efficient Intel CPU and sufficient RAM, its integrated graphics are less powerful, trading off some performance for exceptional portability and screen quality.

The Gigabyte A5 has a better screen than the LG Gram 16 for gaming and AI, while the LG Gram 16 has a better screen for general use, engineering and design, content creation, and software development.
Both the Gigabyte A5 and LG Gram 16 have screens that offer clear, sharp visuals and suitable brightness for everyday tasks and professional applications like CAD or graphic design, thanks to their resolution and panel technology. Their color accuracy covers a spectrum that's appreciated in engineering and design, ensuring that colors in projects are reproduced faithfully. However, for gaming and 3D applications where the fluidity of motion is crucial, their screens may not refresh as quickly as desired, leading to less smooth transitions and potentially impacting the gaming or 3D experience.

How the Gigabyte A5 and the LG Gram 16 compare to other laptops
"Ignoring price, the Gigabyte A5 has a hard time against the similarly fast competition. Besides the loud noise in 3D mode (performance mode), the high temperature development of the components should be mentioned on the downside. Despite the relatively thick case, the laptop gets very warm and loud under load, which does not exactly speak for the cooling system. The plastic surfaces look rather cheap and also tend to rattle. In most other disciplines - be it the input devices, the screen, the connectivity or the battery runtime - the Gigabyte laptop does not stand out from the crowd, neither positively nor negatively. However, those who primarily pay attention to the price-performance ratio will get a pretty good offer with the Gigabyte A5."
"The LG Gram 16 is a lightweight device with stability issues. The LG Gram 16Z90Q with a Core i7-1260P is made with portability in mind and places less of a focus on users with high demands on performance. The compact and light chassis is particularly practical when you are on the go. The device is not only comfortably small and lightweight, it also boasts a great battery life. When connected to mains, on the other hand, the 16-inch device is rather disappointing. The standard cooling mode causes extreme volatility in terms of CPU, SSD and iGPU performance. The meager stability of the chassis may also put off some potential buyers."
