The Gigabyte A5, priced in the lower midrange, is significantly less expensive and offers solid performance for general use and gaming. It's somewhat portable, with a decent battery life and a full array of ports. For tasks not excessively demanding, like everyday tasks and mid-level gaming, it's a cost-effective option.
On the other hand, the Lenovo Legion 7i Pro is priced in the upper midrange and costs considerably more, but provides top-tier performance, particularly for engineering, 3D rendering, and machine learning. It has a superior screen with a higher resolution and refresh rate, more RAM, and larger storage capacity, catering to intensive tasks. However, it's heavier and offers less portability.
Choose the Gigabyte A5 for an affordable, portable option with fair performance or the Lenovo Legion 7i Pro for premium performance and a high-quality display at a higher cost and less portability. Give Feedback

The Lenovo Legion Pro 7i is very good for general use, while the Gigabyte A5 is good.
The Lenovo Legion 7i Pro provides higher performance than the Gigabyte A5 due to its more powerful CPU and double the RAM, contributing to better multitasking and demanding applications, and a higher resolution screen, which offers sharper visuals for general use. However, it is less portable with a heavier weight and shorter battery life, which may not be as convenient for users who frequently move around with their laptop.

The Lenovo Legion Pro 7i is excellent for engineering and design, while the Gigabyte A5 is good.
The Lenovo Legion 7i Pro outshines the Gigabyte A5 in engineering and design applications due to its more powerful CPU, double the RAM, and a superior GPU, which is particularly important for intensive tasks and complex designs. While the Gigabyte A5 is somewhat portable with decent screen quality, the Lenovo offers a higher resolution and better color accuracy, enhancing the visual experience for detailed design work, though it is less portable and might be noisier, based on its operating noise and portability descriptions.

The Lenovo Legion Pro 7i has a better screen than the Gigabyte A5 for general use, gaming and AI, engineering and design, content creation, and software development.
The Gigabyte A5's screen offers clarity and brightness suitable for everyday tasks and detailed engineering work, but its lower refresh rate may not be ideal for the smooth visuals demanded by high-end gaming and 3D applications. On the other hand, the Lenovo Legion Pro 7i's display provides a vibrant and precise color representation that professionals in engineering and design appreciate, yet like the Gigabyte A5, it falls short in refresh rate, affecting fast-paced gaming experiences. Both laptops may deliver for general and professional use, but serious gamers might find the screens lacking for their specific needs.

"Ignoring price, the Gigabyte A5 has a hard time against the similarly fast competition. Besides the loud noise in 3D mode (performance mode), the high temperature development of the components should be mentioned on the downside. Despite the relatively thick case, the laptop gets very warm and loud under load, which does not exactly speak for the cooling system. The plastic surfaces look rather cheap and also tend to rattle. In most other disciplines - be it the input devices, the screen, the connectivity or the battery runtime - the Gigabyte laptop does not stand out from the crowd, neither positively nor negatively. However, those who primarily pay attention to the price-performance ratio will get a pretty good offer with the Gigabyte A5."
"Passionate gamers who want to play demanding modern titles with maximum details and don't mind spending the moolah will find the Lenovo Legion 7 Pro to be the right choice. The bright, sharp, and color-accurate 16:10 QHD 240 Hz display makes for an immersive viewing experience. The hardware is housed in a stylish chassis that feels premium and scores well in terms of workmanship and stability. Other aspects such as sound quality, input devices, and connectivity also seem to be near-perfect."
