Choosing between the Gigabyte A5 and the Lenovo Legion 5 15" depends on your specific needs. If you prioritize gaming or applications that require high GPU performance, the Lenovo Legion 5 with its RTX 4060 offers better graphics capabilities. However, it's also slightly heavier, which may affect portability. On the other hand, the Gigabyte A5, while having an older RTX 3060, may offer sufficient performance for less demanding games and general use, and it is a bit lighter, which can be advantageous if you need to carry it around frequently. Both come with similar storage and memory, providing good capacity for everyday tasks and moderate multi-tasking. The Lenovo's higher-resolution display might be more appealing if you value screen clarity for gaming or creative work. Consider whether you need the increased graphical power and sharp display of the Lenovo Legion 5 or if the Gigabyte A5’s slightly better portability meets your daily requirements. Give Feedback

The Lenovo Legion 5 15" has a better screen than the Gigabyte A5 for general use, gaming and AI, engineering and design, and content creation.
The Gigabyte A5's screen, while providing a decent resolution and brightness that's adequate for general tasks and engineering applications, lacks the high color accuracy crucial for professional design work. The Lenovo Legion 5 15" elevates general use and design experiences with a superior display that offers better resolution and color reproduction, fulfilling the needs for precise color work. However, for gaming and 3D purposes, both laptops fall short due to lower refresh rates that can't deliver the smooth visuals needed in fast-paced visual environments.

How the Gigabyte A5 and the Lenovo Legion 5 15" compare to other laptops
"Ignoring price, the Gigabyte A5 has a hard time against the similarly fast competition. Besides the loud noise in 3D mode (performance mode), the high temperature development of the components should be mentioned on the downside. Despite the relatively thick case, the laptop gets very warm and loud under load, which does not exactly speak for the cooling system. The plastic surfaces look rather cheap and also tend to rattle. In most other disciplines - be it the input devices, the screen, the connectivity or the battery runtime - the Gigabyte laptop does not stand out from the crowd, neither positively nor negatively. However, those who primarily pay attention to the price-performance ratio will get a pretty good offer with the Gigabyte A5."
"The Lenovo Legion 5 15 is an affordable gaming laptop with a lot of power. The new AMD processor Ryzen 7 5800H offers plenty of performance and it is also very efficient. The combination with the fast 130W version of the GeForce RTX 3060 ensures high gaming performance. We also like the fast 165 Hz display with the 1080p resolution. The automatic graphics switching causes some problems with stutters, which are very annoying. If you do not need long battery runtimes, you should definitely deactivate the hybrid graphics mode in Lenovo's Vantage app. The Legion 5 15 is never silent."
