The Gigabyte A5 is generally more expensive and offers higher gaming performance due to a better graphics card; it's also suitable for tasks like 3D rendering and machine learning. However, the Lenovo IdeaPad Gaming 3 is less expensive and has a longer battery life, making it more suitable for general use and portability. Both have the same display size and resolution, but the IdeaPad has a slightly better screen for color work. If you need strong gaming and engineering performance, the Gigabyte A5 is better, but for everyday use and longer battery life, the Lenovo IdeaPad Gaming 3 could be more appropriate. Give Feedback

The Lenovo IdeaPad Gaming 3 has a better screen than the Gigabyte A5 for content creation.
For general use, both the Gigabyte A5 and the Lenovo IdeaPad Gaming 3 offer panels with adequate resolution and brightness, making them suitable for everyday tasks like browsing and video streaming. However, despite their decent color accuracy, neither laptop's display covers the wider color gamuts preferred for engineering and design tasks, which could lead to less precise color representation in those fields. For gaming and 3D applications, the importance of a high refresh rate is not met by either laptop, which may result in less fluid visuals, while their resolution and panel types are satisfactory but not exceptional in contributing to a more immersive experience.

How the Gigabyte A5 and the Lenovo IdeaPad Gaming 3 compare to other laptops
"Ignoring price, the Gigabyte A5 has a hard time against the similarly fast competition. Besides the loud noise in 3D mode (performance mode), the high temperature development of the components should be mentioned on the downside. Despite the relatively thick case, the laptop gets very warm and loud under load, which does not exactly speak for the cooling system. The plastic surfaces look rather cheap and also tend to rattle. In most other disciplines - be it the input devices, the screen, the connectivity or the battery runtime - the Gigabyte laptop does not stand out from the crowd, neither positively nor negatively. However, those who primarily pay attention to the price-performance ratio will get a pretty good offer with the Gigabyte A5."
"The Lenovo IdeaPad Gaming 3 is one of the most powerful RTX 3050 Ti laptops. If you disregard the mediocre quality of the case in terms of the material and workmanship, Lenovo has created a successful budget gaming laptop with the IdeaPad Gaming. Thanks to high TDPs and constant performance development, the Core i5-12500H and GeForce RTX 3050 Ti are able to show their full power, while in contrast, the (mostly slower) competitors deliver a better battery life. However, hardly any of the alternative laptops are able to reach the image quality of the Gaming 3. Most of the competitors are left behind in terms of the color space and brightness."
