The Razer Blade 15 has a better screen than the Gateway 15.6" for general use, gaming and AI, engineering and design, content creation, and software development.
For general use, the Gateway's screen provides an acceptable level of detail and visibility in various lighting conditions due to its resolution and brightness, although it may not be as sharp or vibrant as higher-end panels. In engineering and design, colors may not be as accurate or vivid on the Gateway as on the Razer Blade, which boasts a broader color spectrum, essential for precision work. For gaming and 3D applications, the Razer Blade's screen is less suitable because even with its resolution and panel quality, the lower refresh rate can hamper the smoothness and responsiveness that fast-paced visuals demand.

"Some concessions have to be made when shopping for a budget laptop. Walmart's Gateway Ultra Slim laptops succeeds on the affordability front and delivers serviceable specs and good battery life, though it's hard to claim it's the best (or even particularly good) at any particular aspect. Its build quality, especially the touchpad, is mediocre, and its performance is decent but doesn't lead the way. The Gateway does undercut the cost of some competitors and offers ample storage with good connectivity, so it's not to be ignored."
"The 2022 Blade 15 offers roughly 15 to 25 percent faster graphics performance and 20 percent faster CPU performance over last year's Core i7-11800H and RTX 3080 model. Thankfully, the system doesn't need to run noticeably louder or warmer to achieve faster results, but both power consumption and battery life take a hit. The higher consumption in particular appears to be a trend amongst many 12th gen Core laptops including the Schenker Uniwill Technology GM7AG8P or MSI Vector GP66 when compared to their previous generation counterparts. We're also glad to not see below-average CPU performance which was the case for the 10th gen Core i7-10875H model."
