The Gateway 15.6" offers a good balance for general use with a larger screen, making it suitable for tasks like browsing, productivity software, and moderate multitasking, but it has a lower portability due to its size and weight. On the other hand, the LG Ultra 13, with a smaller and lighter build, excels in portability and is ideal for on-the-go users, while still handling general use effectively. Both laptops are similarly priced and have adequate performance for everyday tasks, but if you need greater portability and battery life, the LG Ultra 13 is preferable, whereas for a larger display and more comfortable viewing experience at a fixed location, the Gateway 15.6" would be better. How the Gateway 15.6" and the LG Ultra 13 compare to other laptops
"Some concessions have to be made when shopping for a budget laptop. Walmart's Gateway Ultra Slim laptops succeeds on the affordability front and delivers serviceable specs and good battery life, though it's hard to claim it's the best (or even particularly good) at any particular aspect. Its build quality, especially the touchpad, is mediocre, and its performance is decent but doesn't lead the way. The Gateway does undercut the cost of some competitors and offers ample storage with good connectivity, so it's not to be ignored."
"The 13.3-inch LG Gram is a fine fit if you need to travel as light as possible for as long as possible without spending a fortune to do it. It might not be particularly sturdy or have an eye-catching design and its webcam is less than ideal, but with its sharp touch display, comfortable backlit keyboard, responsive touchpad and a fingerprint reader for extra security, the Gram makes a respectible everyday laptop for business or school work."
