When choosing between the Eluktronics RP-15 and the Lenovo IdeaPad 3 17", consider your needs carefully. The Eluktronics RP-15 offers better performance for 3D rendering, machine learning, gaming, and engineering tasks due to its higher-end processor and graphics card. However, it comes at a higher cost and has shorter battery life. In contrast, the Lenovo IdeaPad 3 17" is more budget-friendly, with a bigger screen and longer battery life but less powerful hardware, making it better suited for general use rather than intensive tasks. The IdeaPad also has a full keyboard with a number pad, which could be useful for productivity, while the RP-15 is more portable despite being smaller due to its lighter weight. Both have backlit keyboards, but only the RP-15 features hardware ray tracing and DLSS, important for modern gaming experiences. Give Feedback

The Eluktronics RP-15 has a better screen than the Lenovo IdeaPad 3 17" for general use, gaming and AI, engineering and design, software development, and content creation.
The Eluktronics RP-15 likely has a high-resolution display with vibrant colors and brightness suited for detailed work in engineering and design, but its lower refresh rate affects gaming where smooth motion is key. The Lenovo IdeaPad 3 may offer good resolution and brightness for everyday tasks and professional design software but might not support the wider color gamuts critical for precision color work. Gaming and 3D applications suffer on both due to their screens' moderate resolution and lack of high refresh rates which are necessary for a fluid visual experience.

How the Eluktronics RP-15 and the Lenovo IdeaPad 3 17" compare to other laptops
"To conclude, I’m genuinely impressed with Eluktronics and what they have been able to deliver with the RP-15. You see this is all about maximizing performance, cooling, and giving users the most flexible I/O, and then wrapping it into a chassis that doesn’t feel super cheap. Let’s also not forget the price point, I think they have really nailed it in that department."
"The Lenovo IdeaPad 3 17" defies expectations. Indeed, it is just a minor upgrade over last year. However, this doesn’t make the laptop any less terrific. It’s got a great performance, courtesy of the Ryzen 5x25U processors. In addition, you get a pretty good battery life. Perhaps, the 2-hour decrease in video playback, compared to last year is not great, but still, 10 hours of Web browsing and 7 hours of video playback is okay for 17-inch notebooks."
