The Eluktronics Mech-15 G3R is somewhat more expensive and slightly heavier than the Razer Blade 15, which impacts portability, but it offers better heat management and overall performance for engineering tasks. Both laptops have similar screen sizes, resolutions, and refresh rates. If you prioritize better cooling and slight performance enhancements in demanding applications and can afford a higher price, go for the Eluktronics Mech-15 G3R. However, if you prefer a more portable laptop with a robust build and good performance at a slightly lower cost, the Razer Blade 15 is the way to go. Both are suitable for intensive gaming. When it comes to general use, both the Eluktronics Mech-15 G3R and the Razer Blade 15 offer displays with high resolution and brightness and have panels that produce clear images, making them pleasant for everyday tasks like browsing and watching videos. For engineering and design, these laptops stand out due to their wide color gamuts, ensuring that professionals who require accurate color representation for their work, like graphic designers and architects, are well-served. However, for gaming and 3D applications where the smoothness of motion is critical, the lower refresh rates on these screens mean they don't deliver the fluid visuals preferred by gamers and those doing real-time 3D rendering.

How the Eluktronics Mech-15 G3R and the Razer Blade 15 compare to other laptops
"Everything considered, the XMG Neo 15 (Mech-15 G3R) with RTX 3070 Ti is a great gaming performer. The combination of the Ti graphics card with the new Intel 12th gen CPU is enough to go toe-to-toe, and even slightly pull ahead of the RTX 3080 in most titles, though on games with Ray-Tracing enabled, particularly with graphics set to the maximum and on higher resolutions, the additional VRAM of the RTX 3080 makes a big impact, and the 8GB RTX 3070 Ti machine simply can’t compete, even with the more powerful processor."
"The 2022 Blade 15 offers roughly 15 to 25 percent faster graphics performance and 20 percent faster CPU performance over last year's Core i7-11800H and RTX 3080 model. Thankfully, the system doesn't need to run noticeably louder or warmer to achieve faster results, but both power consumption and battery life take a hit. The higher consumption in particular appears to be a trend amongst many 12th gen Core laptops including the Schenker Uniwill Technology GM7AG8P or MSI Vector GP66 when compared to their previous generation counterparts. We're also glad to not see below-average CPU performance which was the case for the 10th gen Core i7-10875H model."
