The Dell XPS 13 Plus offers a balance of portability, high-resolution OLED touchscreen, and good battery life for general use; it's more affordable but has less raw power than the Razer Blade 18. The Razer Blade 18 delivers superior performance for 3D rendering, machine learning, and gaming, with a powerful Intel i9 processor and Nvidia RTX graphics, yet it's heavier and has shorter battery life, making it less convenient for on-the-go use. Consider the Dell if you prioritize portability and value; choose the Razer if you need a performance powerhouse and are willing to invest more. Give Feedback

The Razer Blade 18 is excellent for engineering and design, while the Dell XPS 13 Plus is very good.
The Dell XPS 13 Plus is well-suited for engineering and design due to its powerful Intel i7 CPU, ample RAM, and high-quality OLED screen with excellent color accuracy and contrast. The Razer Blade 18, however, excels with a more robust Intel i9 CPU, superior Nvidia RTX GPU for demanding graphics tasks, and a larger, high-refresh rate screen, although its greater weight and size make it less portable than the XPS 13 Plus.

For general use, the Dell XPS 13 Plus offers a crisp, bright display with high resolution, making text and images appear sharp and vivid, which is great for everyday tasks like browsing and office work, while the Razer Blade 18 has similar qualities, providing a pleasant viewing experience for daily activities. In engineering and design, the Dell's display covers a wide range of colors, providing accuracy essential for professional work, but the Razer Blade 18 also excels with a display that reproduces colors faithfully. However, both laptops fall short for gaming and 3D tasks as they lack high refresh rates, which are key for smooth motion and fast-paced visuals, although the Razer Blade 18 might still offer a suitable experience for less demanding games.

How the Dell XPS 13 Plus and the Razer Blade 18 compare to other laptops
"The XPS 13 Plus is powerful, but has its drawbacks. Dell did not only update the processor generation, but also decided to offer two completely different models from now on. The XPS 13 Plus gets the faster Intel Alder Lake-P chips, and the Core i7-1260P in our review unit offers good performance figures. However, the device once again shows the problems of the current Intel CPUs, because the high performance requires a lot of power. This affects the battery runtime as well as temperatures, so the new model (even with the Optimized power profile) is louder than the older model."
"Razer made a powerful laptop in the Blade 18, showing off a beautiful and fast display and the same high-quality build we’ve come to expect from this product line. It’s also quite expensive, which is hardly a surprise, but bears repeating even in this price range. It’s pricier than the Scar 18 despite an inferior GPU and half the storage, so you really have to want the Blade 18’s design to justify the cost."
