If you're looking for higher performance and a more premium build, you might lean towards the Dell XPS 13 Plus even though it's more expensive. On the other hand, if cost is a primary concern and you still need a machine that is capable for a range of tasks with decent battery life, the MSI Prestige 13 AI Evo can offer a good balance at a lower price point. The XPS often boasts better display quality and a sleek design but may come with less flexibility in terms of ports compared to the MSI. If portability is a priority, both options are lightweight but always check the specific weight if that is crucial for you. Consider what your main activities will be; if they're more intensive, the Dell's typically superior performance might justify its cost. For general use and if you're budget-conscious, the MSI should suffice. Give Feedback

The Dell XPS 13 Plus has a better screen than the MSI Prestige 13 AI Evo for general use, engineering and design, software development, and content creation, while the MSI Prestige 13 AI Evo has a better screen for gaming and AI.
When evaluating laptops for general use, the screen quality of the Dell XPS 13 Plus is impressive due to its high resolution and brightness, which make for a crisp and vivid display, but for gaming and 3D applications, its lower refresh rate can hinder the experience, as fast-moving visuals may not appear as smooth. The MSI Prestige 13 AI Evo also offers a very good screen for general use and engineering, boasting similar resolution and brightness while also delivering wide color gamuts, ensuring accurate color representation needed for design tasks. However, like the Dell, it falls short for gaming and 3D work, as it also has a refresh rate that may not keep up with the speed and fluidity required by those activities.

How the Dell XPS 13 Plus and the MSI Prestige 13 AI Evo compare to other laptops
"The XPS 13 Plus is powerful, but has its drawbacks. Dell did not only update the processor generation, but also decided to offer two completely different models from now on. The XPS 13 Plus gets the faster Intel Alder Lake-P chips, and the Core i7-1260P in our review unit offers good performance figures. However, the device once again shows the problems of the current Intel CPUs, because the high performance requires a lot of power. This affects the battery runtime as well as temperatures, so the new model (even with the Optimized power profile) is louder than the older model."
