The Dell XPS 13 Plus is less expensive and more portable with better battery life and a high-quality touch display, making it suitable for general use and business tasks. In contrast, the MSI GE66 Raider, while more costly, offers superior performance, especially for 3D, machine learning, gaming, and engineering, thanks to its advanced processor and top-end graphics, but it has reduced battery life and portability due to its larger size and weight. Choose the XPS 13 Plus for everyday mobility or the GE66 Raider for demanding applications and gaming. Give Feedback

The MSI GE66 Raider is very good for gaming and AI, while the Dell XPS 13 Plus is only fair.
The MSI GE66 Raider outshines the Dell XPS 13 Plus in gaming and 3D due to its more powerful Nvidia RTX 3080 Ti graphics card and a higher screen refresh rate of 120Hz, making it excellent for fast-paced games and smoother visuals. Contrastingly, the XPS 13 Plus, though good with its Intel Iris Xe Graphics and decent screen quality, offers a lower 60Hz refresh rate, which, combined with the less powerful GPU, makes it less suitable for demanding gaming and intensive 3D applications.

The Dell XPS 13 Plus has a better screen than the MSI GE66 Raider for general use, and engineering and design, while the MSI GE66 Raider has a better screen for gaming and AI.
The Dell XPS 13 Plus offers a high-resolution display with excellent color accuracy and brightness, making it ideal for general tasks and design work where details and color representation are crucial. However, its typical refresh rate isn't suited for gaming and 3D applications, which require rapid frame changes to be smoother. On the other hand, the MSI GE66 Raider, while also boasting a quality display for general use and professional design tasks, similarly falls short for gaming due to a refresh rate that's less optimal for fast-paced visuals.

How the Dell XPS 13 Plus and the MSI GE66 Raider compare to other laptops
"The XPS 13 Plus is powerful, but has its drawbacks. Dell did not only update the processor generation, but also decided to offer two completely different models from now on. The XPS 13 Plus gets the faster Intel Alder Lake-P chips, and the Core i7-1260P in our review unit offers good performance figures. However, the device once again shows the problems of the current Intel CPUs, because the high performance requires a lot of power. This affects the battery runtime as well as temperatures, so the new model (even with the Optimized power profile) is louder than the older model."
"The MSI Raider GE66 12UHS notebook passes with flying colors. The GE66 is a high-end notebook with strong performance. The keyboard and trackpad are still very good and score well with precise inputs as well as high build quality. Thanks to a new liquid metal cooling solution, the Intel Core i9 12900HK brings a performance increase of around 50 percent over the predecessor's Intel Core i9 10980HK. The installed graphics card in our device delivers up to 30 percent higher frame rates than the RTX 2070 Super in the MSI GE66 10SFS."
