The Dell XPS 13 Plus is more expensive but offers strong general use performance, a high-quality display with better colors, and is lightweight, making it highly portable. It's well-suited for business use and has a longer battery life. The MSI Bravo 15, while less costly, provides enhanced performance for 3D rendering, machine learning, and gaming thanks to its dedicated graphics card. Its larger screen with a higher refresh rate is better for gaming and video, but it's heavier and less portable, with a shorter battery life. For intensive engineering tasks or gaming, the MSI Bravo 15 would be more appropriate, while the Dell XPS 13 Plus is ideal for those prioritizing portability and screen quality for general use or business applications. The MSI Bravo 15 is good for gaming and AI, while the Dell XPS 13 Plus is only fair.
The Dell XPS 13 Plus, with its integrated Intel GPU, is suitable for light gaming and 3D, and though it has a high-quality OLED screen, its refresh rate is standard, hampering fast-paced gaming experiences. In contrast, the MSI Bravo 15, equipped with a dedicated Nvidia RTX GPU and a higher screen refresh rate, is more suited for intensive gaming and 3D applications, offering smoother visuals and the ability to handle more graphics-intensive tasks.

The Dell XPS 13 Plus is very good for engineering and design, while the MSI Bravo 15 is good.
The Dell XPS 13 Plus stands out with a high-resolution OLED screen, more RAM, and a CPU well-suited for demanding tasks in engineering and design, complemented by a high pixel density which enhances visual clarity. In contrast, the MSI Bravo 15 offers a dedicated Nvidia RTX GPU that's better for graphics-intensive applications, and a higher screen refresh rate beneficial for fluid visual experiences, yet it has a lower-resolution screen and less RAM, which could limit its multitasking capabilities in complex engineering and design work.

The Dell XPS 13 Plus has a better screen than the MSI Bravo 15 for general use, gaming and AI, engineering and design, software development, and content creation.
For general use, the Dell XPS 13 Plus offers a higher resolution and brighter display than the MSI Bravo 15, ensuring sharp and vibrant visuals ideal for everyday tasks. When it comes to engineering and design, the XPS 13 Plus provides superior color accuracy with its wider color gamuts, catering to professionals who require precise color representation for their work. However, for gaming and 3D rendering, the lower refresh rate of the XPS 13 Plus screen may not be as smooth or responsive as gaming-dedicated laptops, whereas the MSI Bravo 15, despite its other limitations, could offer a better refresh rate more suitable for these uses, albeit still not ideal.

"The XPS 13 Plus is powerful, but has its drawbacks. Dell did not only update the processor generation, but also decided to offer two completely different models from now on. The XPS 13 Plus gets the faster Intel Alder Lake-P chips, and the Core i7-1260P in our review unit offers good performance figures. However, the device once again shows the problems of the current Intel CPUs, because the high performance requires a lot of power. This affects the battery runtime as well as temperatures, so the new model (even with the Optimized power profile) is louder than the older model."
"Overall, the MSI Bravo 15 C7U is a great gaming device for the masses that isn’t too pricey. The capable hardware (for the price range), the 144Hz display, and the comfortable keyboard are one of the things that should attract buyers who don’t want to spend a fortune on a new gaming laptop."
