The Dell XPS 13 Plus is more expensive and offers better performance with more storage and memory, suited for intensive engineering tasks and 3D/machine learning applications, along with a high-resolution OLED touchscreen. However, it is less portable than the LG Ultra 13, which is more budget-friendly and weighs less, making it easier to carry around. The LG has less storage and memory, which might not be as powerful for demanding tasks but still competent for general use. Both have similar battery life, but the LG Ultra 13 has a more traditional design and it operates at a standard resolution without a touchscreen. If your workflow involves graphics-heavy software or multitasking, the Dell XPS 13 Plus is preferable. On the other hand, for typical everyday tasks, web browsing, and media consumption, the LG Ultra 13 offers good value and easier portability. Give Feedback

The Dell XPS 13 Plus is very good for general use, while the LG Ultra 13 is good.
The Dell XPS 13 Plus excels for general use due to its superior CPU and significantly larger RAM, which offer faster performance and better multitasking, along with a higher resolution OLED screen that enhances overall viewing quality. While the LG Ultra 13 is lighter and thus more portable, its lower RAM and standard IPS screen might not be as suitable for demanding tasks or those requiring greater visual fidelity, despite being adequate for everyday usage.

The Dell XPS 13 Plus is very good for engineering and design, while the LG Ultra 13 is only fair.
The Dell XPS 13 Plus outshines the LG Ultra 13 in engineering and design tasks primarily because it boasts a much stronger CPU and GPU, double the RAM for handling complex software easily, and a superior OLED screen with higher resolution and color accuracy for detailed graphics work. While both laptops are similar in portability, the XPS's keyboard and speaker quality also rank higher, contributing to a better overall user experience despite being heavier and possibly generating more operating noise.

The Dell XPS 13 Plus has a better screen than the LG Ultra 13 for general use, gaming and AI, engineering and design, software development, and content creation.
If you prioritize sharp, clear images and vibrant colors for productivity tasks like browsing and document editing, the Dell XPS 13 Plus with its superior resolution and brightness will outshine the LG Ultra 13. For engineering and design, where accurate color representation matters, the Dell's adherence to professional color gamuts means more precise color work compared to the LG. However, if fast-paced gaming or 3D modelling is your focus, neither laptop’s screen refresh rate is ideal, but the Dell's better resolution and panel type give it a slight edge, even though it's still not optimal for those specific activities.

How the Dell XPS 13 Plus and the LG Ultra 13 compare to other laptops
"The XPS 13 Plus is powerful, but has its drawbacks. Dell did not only update the processor generation, but also decided to offer two completely different models from now on. The XPS 13 Plus gets the faster Intel Alder Lake-P chips, and the Core i7-1260P in our review unit offers good performance figures. However, the device once again shows the problems of the current Intel CPUs, because the high performance requires a lot of power. This affects the battery runtime as well as temperatures, so the new model (even with the Optimized power profile) is louder than the older model."
"The 13.3-inch LG Gram is a fine fit if you need to travel as light as possible for as long as possible without spending a fortune to do it. It might not be particularly sturdy or have an eye-catching design and its webcam is less than ideal, but with its sharp touch display, comfortable backlit keyboard, responsive touchpad and a fingerprint reader for extra security, the Gram makes a respectible everyday laptop for business or school work."
