The Dell XPS 13 Plus offers a higher-performing processor and more RAM, which makes it suitable for more intensive tasks such as engineering or heavy multitasking. It is also equipped with a high-resolution OLED display, providing vibrant colors and deep blacks, beneficial for tasks that require color accuracy. In contrast, the Lenovo ThinkPad X1 Titanium Yoga has a slightly larger screen and a durable build often associated with business laptops, but with a lower screen resolution and a less powerful processor than the Dell. The Yoga's 360-degree hinge offers the flexibility of a tablet, which can be useful for presentations or note-taking. If battery life is a concern, the Dell has a slightly larger capacity, which might translate into longer usage between charges. As both laptops are similarly priced, your decision should be based on whether you prioritize performance and display quality with the Dell or the versatility and business features of the Lenovo. The Dell XPS 13 Plus has a better screen than the Lenovo ThinkPad X1 Titanium Yoga for general use, gaming and AI, engineering and design, software development, and content creation.
The Dell XPS 13 Plus offers a screen with high resolution and brightness, as well as covering a wide range of colors, making it excellent for precise engineering and design work where color accuracy matters but falls short for gaming and 3D applications due to a lower refresh rate. The Lenovo ThinkPad X1 Titanium Yoga provides a good balance with its display that performs well under diverse lighting conditions for general use and maintains decent color fidelity for engineering and design, but like the Dell, it's not optimized for the high frame rates sought after in gaming and 3D rendering. The priority given to screen attributes like fine detail and color spectrum in both laptops serves the needs of general use and professional design but fails to cater to the fast-refresh demands of immersive gaming experiences.

How the Dell XPS 13 Plus and the Lenovo ThinkPad X1 Titanium Yoga compare to other laptops
"The XPS 13 Plus is powerful, but has its drawbacks. Dell did not only update the processor generation, but also decided to offer two completely different models from now on. The XPS 13 Plus gets the faster Intel Alder Lake-P chips, and the Core i7-1260P in our review unit offers good performance figures. However, the device once again shows the problems of the current Intel CPUs, because the high performance requires a lot of power. This affects the battery runtime as well as temperatures, so the new model (even with the Optimized power profile) is louder than the older model."
"The ThinkPad X1 Titanium is a showcase of what Lenovo thinks business computing will look like in the near future. People want thinner, lighter laptops with high-quality screens and enough computing power to get their work done. The X1 Titanium achieves these goals with some controversial but innovative design choices, including a redesigned keyboard and a pared-down port selection."
