The Dell XPS 13 Plus is a sleek, upper midrange laptop that is more portable, offers a higher-resolution OLED touchscreen with better color accuracy, and is ideal for business users and general performance needs. Conversely, the HP Omen 15, with a gamer aesthetic and lower price point, provides a larger screen with a much higher refresh rate for fast motion, powerful graphics for 3D tasks, machine learning, and gaming, along with longer battery life and a bigger storage capacity, but it is heavier and less portable. Choose the XPS 13 Plus for premium business use and portability or the Omen 15 for gaming and intensive graphics work. Give Feedback

The Dell XPS 13 Plus has a better screen than the HP Omen 15 for general use, engineering and design, software development, and content creation.
The Dell XPS 13 Plus offers a display with high resolution and brightness, making it ideal for everyday tasks that require clarity and vibrant visuals, while the impressive color accuracy supports professional tasks like engineering and design. However, it lacks the high refresh rate that gamers and 3D designers seek for a smooth visual experience. Conversely, the HP Omen 15 has a balanced display that serves general use and design well enough, but similarly falls short for gaming and 3D work due to its suboptimal refresh rate.

How the Dell XPS 13 Plus and the HP Omen 15 compare to other laptops
"The XPS 13 Plus is powerful, but has its drawbacks. Dell did not only update the processor generation, but also decided to offer two completely different models from now on. The XPS 13 Plus gets the faster Intel Alder Lake-P chips, and the Core i7-1260P in our review unit offers good performance figures. However, the device once again shows the problems of the current Intel CPUs, because the high performance requires a lot of power. This affects the battery runtime as well as temperatures, so the new model (even with the Optimized power profile) is louder than the older model."
"We consider around 1,260 Euros (~$1530) for a Ryzen 7 4800H, a GeForce RTX 2060, a 512 GB SSD and 16 GB dual-channel RAM to be a good offer that appeals to price-conscious gamers. Very high details are rarely a problem in the native resolution of 1,920 x 1,080. Buyers will also be spoiled with a top-notch battery life that even beats most other notebook classes. If HP now improves the speed of the WLAN module, the stability of the case and the repeatedly criticized picture quality, the competition will have to dress extra warmly."
